The birds outside are becoming less and less audible as each day goes by i notice as i look outside my the glossy clear glass door of my back yard.

I thank God for allowing me to even have the ability to see even if my sight is getting blurrier by the second , maybe its just the fact im an' old fogey the world aint built for us no more.. A large yawn leaves my mouth as i take slow steps over to the counter, *Cough*

A wretched cough leaves my throat followed by more heavy breathing, my strength truly only comes from God because i can barely manage to find strength to muster up an ol' gulp of oxygen.. *Cough*

"Jehovah is your name, Jehovah is your name...." (Song at the top of the chapter) My tone is weak and my singing voice is raspy but then again God didnt exactly bless me to be Aretha franklin, i chuckle at my thoughts as I huff a breath out and take my last step over to the hot stove,

I reach up at the Rusty cupboard and manage to swipe a few medicine pills into my cupped hand,

the kettle is whistling loudly alerting me that it's water it ready to be poured, I suck in a breath and lift my hand, but it doesn't help that it is shaking relentlessly causing me to struggle picking the kettle up ,

*Cough*

I reach my trembling hand forward and pick the whistling kettle off of the stove,

"Mighty warrior, great in battle, Jehovah is your name" My frail hand continues to vibrate as i pour the kettle tip into the mug,

"Mighty warrior great in bat- Holy spirit!" I exclaim as the hot kettle falls from the tip of my weak fingers and onto my foot. I put my hand under cold water and allow it to soothe my sore, I suck in a breath as the cold water flows on top of it.

"Jesus is lord... this hurts." I moan under my breath and dip my head down as my other hand leans on the counter, How much longer will i have to struggle from this?

  *Ding Dong*

my head slowly turns over to the front door as the door bell rung,

"Ai, God be with me.." I sigh to myself as i turn the cold water off, my slow old movements make it harder for me to do a lot.. I hear a mumble from the front door followed by some deep clicks on the floor,

"Who is it?" I repeat peering my head around the corner

"I said, its just me pastor.." Amanda, one of my longest church members. She has truly been with me from the start, I was there at her birth and in return she was with me even throughout Sherlyn's battle with cancer she was there,
