Bad Tour : Yokoama, Japan, 11/11/87. 4:00PM

Michael's point of view

Here I am, on the road again. I just landed in Yokoama, and I'm exhausted. We worked pretty hard with the producer of my upcoming movie Moonwalker. Yeah, I decided to call it that because this movie is about me but also about my fans, and I heard the members of my fanbase called themselves moonwalkers, so, as the movie is about me for them, I think it's a good way to call it. We shot a few things at Neverland, and I loved it: being an actor and a director. Anyway, I'm really excited to perform again. I missed the stage. I could sleep on the stage, I really feel good when I'm there. Even if I'm shy of the spotlight, I love it, really. The fans give me strength and love wherever I go, that's another reason why I keep touring. I do it for my fans, because they mean a lot to me. I wouldn't be where I am if they were not there. Even though I didn't sleep for nights, I'll do my best to please them, and make them happy. I've always had sleep troubles, but since June walked into my life, it's even harder for me to sleep when she's not sleeping next to me. Call me corny, but it's really the way I feel. This woman means like... Eveything to me. She's the only person with who I really feel like myself. Well, not the only one, because there is also Elizabeth. Speaking about her, she called me a few days ago, and she scolded me about the fact I didn't present June to her yet. I mean, I would have loved to, but with eveything that has been going on, I didn't think about it that much. I told her about everything, and she understood as well. Now, after what I said about June, she's really curious to meet her, and I can tell she already loves her. She seemed impress by June's personality, and it makes me very happy. If my two favorite women - beside my mother, of course- could get along, I'll be the happiest man on this planet.

As Carson and my bodyguards finally left my hotel room so I can relax a few minutes before hopping in my stage outfit and heading to the stadium, I took the opportunity to call June. I didn't think about the time difference on the moment, and when I heard her groggy, I felt guilty.

"Shoot, I'm sorry if I woke you up, b-" I began, but she cut me off.

"It's ok, you didn't wake me up, I was already," she said in a low voice.

"Are you sure? I mean, what time is it there?"

"Ummm," she hummed, and I heard some noise, so I guess she turned over to look at her digital clock on the nighstand, "5:15AM," she sighed.

"You're not a morning person, why are you awake this early?" I asked, frowning.

"Coudn't sleep," she simply said. "Where are you?" she asked, changing the topic.

"Um, I just arrived at the hotel now."

"How is it?" She asked, her voice becoming less gorggy than when she picked up the phone.

"It's nice, I guess," I said, looking at the suite I was in. I didn't even look at the entire room: it's just another room, in another country, on another tour.

"You guess?" she asked, chuckling a bit. Oh, that laugh.

"Yeah, I didn't even unpack yet, nor did a tour of the suite, I just wanted to hear your voice first," I said, sitting on the king sized bed. This bed is too big when you have no one to sleep in it with you.

"I'm glad you called, I was thinking about you," she declared.

"Oh yeah? What were you thinking?"

"Nothing special, just how much I miss you already," she admitted. Her voice was low.

"I miss you too, baby girl." I sighed, laying down on the bed, looking at the ceiling. "How are you feeling today?"

"I'm good," she answered fastly. "I miss you, that's all. But besides this, I'm good. What about you, love of my life?"
