You decided since zhongli had been ignoring you for the past few days you would get him back.
You knew why he was because he had been asked to do extra work at the funeral parlor and hu tao ofc asked you if you didnt mind so she wouldnt ruin any plans you two might have had.
you knew your best friend from inazuma was coming to liyue today and you didnt tell zhongli so it was perfect for a prank!
You ran down to the docks where you saw your friend get off the boat you waved and he saw you and ran up to you.
"Y/N! Its been so long, how have you been?"  He sounded so happy to see you because you moved from inazuma to liyue but you two have kept in touch ofc by letters and such and he finally sent the letter saying he would be coming to liyue for about a month
"H/N, Ive missed you to! Ive kept myself in good spirits waiting for my best friend to come!" You two had a super long hug and you brought him over to third round knockout and decided to tell him your plan for the prank on zhongli
*you explained your whole idea to H/N and he agreed to do it as long as nothing to crazy went on*
perfect! This will be great here he comes now!, zhongli had gotten his break so he would wander the city till his eyes layed upon you and H/N, he kept cool and walked over to you two..
"Hello love, is this your childhood friend you have told me about?" *you hugged zhongli planting a kiss on his cheek*
"yes love, this is H/n, he came all the way from inazuma to see me" you said excitingly as you ruffled H/N's Hair making zhongli question but he just shook his head and sat down-
"so you must be zhongli? Y/N has told me much about you and you seem really cool" he reaches a hand out to zhongli and being the gentleman he was shook his hand back
"well you enjoy your break love im going to give H/N a tour!" you planted on final kiss on his lips and ran off with H/N holding hands!
ofc zhongli saw thid and wasnt to happy- but he trusted you so much and knew you wouldnt do something as stupid as leaving him for   H/N  but it was at the back of his mind...
*hours passed and finally zhongli was done with work and he wanted to see if you were free to take you to dinner"
this is where your prank finally took off....
*zhongli walked into the house seeing you dressed to leave*
'love? Where are you going?"
"zhongli! Hi love im going out with H/N I wanted him to have some memorable moments of food and fun so we just booked reservations! Ill see you later ok?"
oh now you had done it...
*zhongli grabbed your wrist and pushed you against the wall and his eyes glowed golden like gold*
"darling? Im going to be..."
He cut you off and kissed you
" you arent going anywhere love, your spending your night with me...
Ive had a feeling all day that something was going on between you and H/N"
You looked stunned and started to break out in laughter
"lovee dont worryy it was just a prankk! I wanted to get back at you for working so much and ignoring meee"
zhongli fell to his kness and started to break down..
"If you wanted to do somethinggg i coulf have taken off babyy! You didnt have to do this to me!"
He started to hold you pulling you onto the floor with him...
"im so sorry babbyy!, i wont do it again ok??" You started to hold him close and you held him and held onto you
"that sounds like a good idea from now on love..."
You two spend the rest of your night together....
