"Namjoon."

I looked back and found Mr Kim sitting on one of the benches. He patted the space beside him, inviting me to sit with him. I bowed to him and sat beside him, "Visiting someone?" He asked, looking at the sky.

I nodded, "My parents."

Mr Kim nodded, "Ah, right."

There was an uncomfortable silence between us but then he broke it, "So, I heard you have taken a four-day leave from work."

I kept quiet. Can I trust him? Will he give a correct answer? "Yes, sir." I closed my fist tightly, "I wanted to get away from Seokjin hyung." Here goes nothing.

Mr Kim turned to me, "Why?"

"I-" I fidgeted with my fingers, "I met a man named Cha Munsu in the cafe and he told me that Seokjin was the one who killed my parents."

Mr Kim hummed and then kept quiet. What am I supposed to understand by this? Is he confirming the news? "Do you believe him?" He asked slowly.

"I don't know," I answered truthfully. "I don't know who to trust."

He nodded. "Well, You are a son of two detectives. Get yourself together and question things that happened around you, Munsu and Seokjin. What did Munsu say? How did Seokjin react to your stories? After that, decide what you want."

I looked at him for the first time and saw him smiling at me. I thought about what happened that evening again. When I found things that were weird, I gasped.

"You found something." Mr Kim said.

I nodded, "First of all, he came into the cafe and sat right next to me and acted as if we met coincidentally. The cafe wasn't full. He could have sat anywhere else."

Mr Kim nodded, "Right."

I continued, "And then he produced a 15-year-old video out of nowhere. It was crucial evidence. People usually don't carry evidence like these on their phones, so carelessly. And one more thing. He confidently said that Seokjin hyung paid the commissioner to kill my parents. But only I knew that the commissioner killed my parents. I have never told anyone about this except Seokjin hyung and others."

Mr Kim smiled, "Now that you know the answer, let me tell you one thing. If Seokjin had to kill your parents, he would have done that in the same club. He doesn't believe in the cheap tricks like apparent accidents and suicides. But Seokjin really respected your parents for their loyalty to the country. He would never do something like this."

I felt like a huge stone was lifted off of my heart. I bowed to Mr Kim, "Thank you so much, sir. I know what I want now. Thank you so much."

Mr Kim nodded, "I am glad you know who to trust now. And you can call me abeoji if you like. And one more thing. This is the first time Seokjin has really loved someone. He is smiling more, he is thinking with his heart more. He is the happiest when he is with you. Make sure not to take that away from him."

Wow! I smiled brightly, "I'll take care of it, abeonim." I bowed again before running off to the main road. I stopped the taxi and told him to drive to hyung's house. I was fidgety all the way to his house. I hope he can forgive me. When I reached there, the house was empty. Was hyung still at the company? Before I could move, I heard the key code being entered. I smiled to myself when hyung called for Mew. I felt like I was flying in the sky.

God, I missed him so much.

When he saw me, he smiled brightly, "Namjoon..." He said, before throwing himself at me. I caught him by his waist and buried my face in his neck. He smells so good. He always smells so fresh, so peaceful.

He kissed my head, "God... I missed you!"

"I missed you too." I sighed, "I am sorry for going M.I.A. like this."

Hyung stepped back and scanned me from head to toe, "Are you alright? Were you that sick? Did you go to the doctor's?"

I felt really bad for worrying him like this. I looked at the floor, "Hyung, I need to tell you something. And apologise again."

Jin hyung looked at him with confusion, "Apologies?" He shook his head, "Let's talk about this after eating something. I am beat! What do you want? Hyung will cook it for you."

"Hyung..." I stopped myself from complaining. He must be really tired. I didn't want to make him more stressed. So I just smiled, "You don't have to cook anything. I already bought take out with me."

I led Seokjin to the kitchen and sat down. I opened the packets for hyung as hyung folded his sleeves so that he wouldn't spoil them. Hyung ate well as if he was hungry for a few days. I cleaned after him. Now was the time to apologise, "Hyung-" before I could even start, the keycode was being entered. I groaned internally. Let me confess, for god's sake!

"Phi!"

Mew entered the house in a haste. Gulf was right, he should learn to give Seokjin hyung some privacy. He looked like he had run a hundred kilometres. Seokjin looked at him with a worried expression, "What happened?"

Mew panted a little, "Gulf is missing."
