Thoughts going through my mind
At high speed
Your thoughts I can hardly read
But I feel
I just feel that's something really wrong

For assuming that there's something going on?
It fills me with anxiety and a sadness
That drains me
Takes up all of my energy
And consumes all my thoughts like a disease
I'm dizzy tryna figure out why
You look down on me, with your head up in the sky
I guess it hurts extra because I see myself in you
I've never met somebody who speaks to my soul so true
I see your mind, and in it I find mine
I see your past, and in it I see myself
I see you, and in you see the potential of who I could've been, who I could be
I look at you
And I see
A friend
That I'd wanna keep until the very end
