Ruhi Singhania

Just a single person. A single person made my whole week a hell. If only I would have kept an eye on him maybe this wouldn't have happened. I tirelessly opened the door of my apartment.

This has been a really tiring day. I straight walked to the shower. After taking the shower I walked to my kitchen and took out a bottle of wine and a glass. I sat down on my couch and decided to watch a movie.

As short as possible.

After going through many options I decided not to watch a movie as I already have a lot of work. I took out my laptop and started working on it. I suddenly felt something pointed at my neck.

Without thinking I just held the hand and twisted it and threw the person over the couch, kneeling to the person and I was shocked as hell.

"Ah! leave my hand. Are you going to break it."

"So what was the need to prank me. And what are you doing here?" I said as I let go of the hand.

" Why can't I come to meet my aunt casually?"

"First of all don't call me that. Do I look like your aunt?" She just shrugged. I took a sigh. Well who I am even arguing to.

" I meant why are you here instead of Bangalore?"

" I had a meeting. I have my flight at midnight so I thought to come here. Well you changed the couch." She said while settling on the couch.

" I didn't like that colour."

" And you liked this white one?"

" Much more."

" You and your taste. Give me a glass too." She said while pointing at the glass of wine.

" Wouldn't it be awkward drinking with your neice who was just born when I was 5 and used to play with her."

" Oh c' mon it's just 5 not 15." She said as I brought another glass.

"Let's have chick-"

" Don't ask me. It's not like you will take it as a no if I say no. Order it." I said while again picking my laptop.

" Will you- "

"Yes I will pay for it."

"That's my generous aunt." I glared at her

" Don't call me that." She just giggled as she took out her phone from her pocket.

It is 11 in the night. We are at the airport. Well Vrinda, my nephew had the return flight so I am here.

" Then I will be going. And yes, if possible please get married as soon as possible. Everyone is enjoying weddings and I am here who didn't had an appropriate wedding to attend after uncle's." This is what she would always say to me.

" You know what my schedule is not free for a wedding so I would consider it once I get a bit of free schedule."

"It's not bussiness." She said while narrowing her eyes.

" Should I say something? The last wedding that I attended was also of your uncle's so I would like to have his and my wonderful neice getting married."

" I don't want to get married."

" Same here." She again narrowed her eyes but this time with a 'i am getting late' and a 'bye' she went.

I turned to the exit way when I remembered that Advik also had a flight. He must be here by now. He texted me in the morning saying he was in the flight.
