It's been a couple weeks since our first date and things have been going well between us. Last week he cooked dinner for me at his home, which was very large. He made me another traditional Greek dish that was very tasty. Apparently it was his mother's recipe.

He bought a bottle of the same wine I had at the restaurant. If that wine was 300 dollar a glass I could only imagine what a whole bottle must've costed him. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the wine just like I did the week prior. I actually ended up staying the night.

Surprisingly we didn't do anything that night, not even a kiss. I could tell he was taking things slow and I appreciated that. Besides, I need to know that he's clean before I do anything with him and I'm not opposed to us getting tested the same day. Condom or not I'm not risking anything.

All we did was talk the whole night and he eventually led me to a guest bedroom where he let me borrow one of his shirts, that I ended up keeping, for the night. That date was very fun because we both were dressed casually just enjoying each other's company. My favorite type of dates are ones where I don't have to stress about an outfit.

This weekend, however, is Halloween. He invited me to a party an associate of his was throwing on Halloween. It was tomorrow, Friday,  and I'm working an opening shift at the bakery that day so I should be off in time to get ready. Right now Aria and I are back and forth between costume stores looking for something to wear. Hector invited her to the party. Apparently he is the president at Kostas's company so he received an invite as well.

I'm not sure what I want to be or if Kostas wanted us to have matching costumes. That's more of a couples thing and we've only been on 2 dates, but we speak on the phone damn near everyday and he often stops by the bakery to pretend like he's just there for something sweet. It honestly feels like we've known each other for years. Still, we're not officially a couple yet.

I called Kostas just to see what he was going to do. "Hello?" I heard his baritone voice.
"Hey do you know what you're wearing to the party tomorrow? Or if there was a theme to follow?" I asked him.
"Go with whatever you want." He said without a care.
"Well what are you dressing as?" I asked.
"Myself." I gasped. "What?! What do you mean yourself that's illegal!" I said, he and Aria both laughed. "I'm getting you a costume." I told him. Unbelievable.
"Fine by me méli." He told me. (Honey)
We hung up shortly and I began to search for costumes.

I saw a brown fedora, similar to what the old school detectives used to wear and an idea popped into my head. I texted Kostas and told him to wear a brown suit. I had a red sequins dress at home that I haven't gotten the chance to wear and I know it'll go perfect with this theme.

I've decided to be Jessica Rabbit, but with my own twist. Kostas is going to be Eddie Valiant.

I wanted to wear my hair in a big fro, but I don't have time to color it temporarily. I'm going to see if Aria could install a wig for me tomorrow. I was going to braid my hair up tonight anyway and just wear a simple black headwrap tomorrow.

I saw an ugly Jessica Rabbit costume. It was really just a cheap wig and the purple gloves she wear. I'll buy the gloves but not the wig.

Aria picked out a mask that resembled something from the purge and she also bought some fake blood and a fake machete. She claimed she was gonna splatter the blood all over a white crop top and skirt she bought at another store.

"That's all you're getting?" She asked pointing to the fedora and gloves. I nodded. "We're gonna be Jessica Rabbit and the detective." I told her.
I asked her if she could install a wig for me and she said she could do it when she gets home tomorrow, so that's good. I'll stop by a beauty supply when we leave here.
