All that you are
Is all that I'll ever need.

Of course, after everything that Ajabde had been through today, the only thing she needed was to get caught talking to herself by one and only Kunwar Pratap.

And the thing was, Ajabde was an average human being, a normal person and he was a giant. Like too big to be walking around the planet without being restricted.

"Khamma Gani," Ajabde said giving him a small smile in hopes he would forget about everything she was saying about his father, and spoiler alert: he did not return the smile. Ajabde was sure he had never smiled in his entire life.

"Humari bhet pehle ho chuki hain kya?" he asked. "Tumhari dhwani kuch jaani pehchani-"

"Ab aaphi ke mahal mein kaam karti hoon to hui hi hogi na bhet," Ajabde slyly covered up and then smacked her head in a way that made the prince feel dumb for asking a question that was blatant common sense.

"Thik hain. Thik hain." he waved away the earlier question and Ajabde sighed in relief.

"Par raat ke iss peher mein aap akeli kyun hain rasoi mein? Aur humare Dajiraj ki bhuraiyan-"

"Bhuraiyan thodi kar rahi thi?!" Ajabde jumped to her defense. "Such bol rahi thi, un hi ke karan hoon main yaha. Pata nahi kya chalta iss bade bade mahal ke bade bade logo ki mun mein. Eetna bhi bhura nahi tha bhojan ki you thali uchhalne ki avarshakta pade. Aur galat to galat hota hain phir raja kare ya das. You Maa Aanapurna ka apmaan galat hua ki nahi? Phir bhi sabne mujhe hi daat diya aur dand de diya pure paakshala ke bartan gisne,"

Kunwar Pratap looked at her irritated by the number of words she managed to vomit out of her mouth in a minute.

"Tum yeh kariye hume bhojan pirosene baad khatam kar dena," he replied.

Ajabde looked at him in shock. What an entitled, selfish brat!

"Mujhe jo kaha gaya hain wahi karungi. Aapko bhojan pirosna mera kaam nahi hain," Ajabde snapped back at him.

"Humne kaha to bus, ab yeh bhi tumhara hi ka kaam hain," he replied arrogantly.

"Kar deti par bhojan kaha bacha hain? Mujhe kya pata tha ki bhojan ke samay na khane ke baad sabki adhi raat bhookh jugegi? Thoda gareebo mein batwa diya baki gayi ko khila diya," Ajabde replied simply.

"KYA?!" he exclaimed. Ajabde nodded smugly.

"Eska dand nahi denge tumhe, chinat na karo," he said as if he expected Ajabde to fall to his feet with gratitude any second now. Ajabde simply rolled her eyes.

"Jaldi humare liye bhojan bana dogi to," he added.

"Nahi banaungi, jo ukhad sakte hain ukhad lijiye," Ajabde said. She was usually very soft-spoken but Kunwar Pratap was annoying and arrogant and was making her blood boil right now.

"Sahas kais-" he stopped himself and took a deep breath. "Dekho, abhi humari tumhare sang jagda karne ki koi ichha nahi hain. Bhojan bana do,"

"Eetni saari dasiya hain aapke pass. Unse kahiye na. Mujhse kyun keh rahe hain bhala?" Ajabde replied.

"Aaj to unn mein se kisi ke haatho ka bhojan nahi khana hume. Tum hi banaogi," he said egoistically.

"Nahi banaungi," Ajabde replied taking a step closer to him to appear more intimidating.

"Thik hain. Ab jab tak tum humare pass khud nahi aati apne haatho se bhojan ki thaali leke, hum kuch nahi khayenge," he said.

"Aisi kaisi hut hain Kunwarsa?" Ajabde asked suddenly losing all of the fun in the game. He worked hard all day, training soldiers and other work related to the kingdom, it would be wrong if he didn't eat.
