Part XII - 𝐽𝐽'𝑠 𝑒𝑦𝑒𝑠

𝐽𝐽'𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑣:

"Is that... a boat?" Katie asks, looking at something not far from us.

We all started swimming to the 'boat' and it was in fact a boat.

"Who's boat is that?" I ask.

"One of Sarah's boats. The one she took that day with John B to go to Bahamas." Katie says with a shocked look.

"We found it..." Pope says, not really happy.

I think we all had a hope they could be alive and fine.

"Let's see it." Kie says going down to see the boat.

We all dived and after a couple of seconds we came up again.

"Nothing important down there." Kie says.

"Well, I guess it's a good thing they're not down there neither." Katie says.

"Facts." I say. "Where are they then?"

"No idea." Katie says.

"Look, it's already like 9 pm we should be going back." Pope says. "We could come back to analyse it better."

"Yeah, he's right." Kie says. "Tomorrow after me and Kat come back from the restaurant we can come here."

"Where are you going?" I ask JJ when I saw him, through the window, leaving the front porch.

Kie was in our bedroom, and I was in the living room for no reason.

"I gotta go home. I'm just going to get more clothes." JJ says.

"Home? To your father?" I ask, worried.

"The biggest part of the time he isn't at home. Maybe he isn't right now. If he is I'm just going to get what I need and come back." he says.

"Do you want me to go with you?" I ask.

He chuckled and then says "No, it's fine. Thanks anyways."

"Ok. See you later." I say going inside again.

"I'll be right back." he says and leaves.

"Kie?" I say quietly, going into the bedroom.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier. Are you mad at me?" I ask her.

"No, I'm not mad. I'm sorry as well. I know I did a bigger mistake. I was just hurt when I knew she invited everyone but me..." she says.

"I forgive you, I would be hurt as well." I say slightly smiling.

"You said she got mad at you because of me. What happened?" she asks me.

"She thought that I told you about the party. She didn't trust me when I said I didn't." I say.

"But you did. You're the one who told me about the party." she says confused.

"Yeah, but it still hurts." I say and Kie laughs.

"We're ok?" I ask her.

"Of course we are." she says giving me a smile.
