Athena's POV,

"Iha, ayos ka lang?"i was taken aback when tita asked me. I nodded and then start eating again. How did they installed bombs on people?What does that mean?Walang makakatakas?

Is there...a bomb inside of me too?

"Athena...?"Soriano nudged me and I realize that they are all looking at me. I feel awkward as I realize how spaced out am I.

"Uhm...what?"I asked.

"I was just asking how's the food."tito said. "Is something bothering you?"he added.

"I...uh, nothing."

"Are you sure?"I was about to answer when Soriano chimed in.

"Let's not force her mom."he said then looked at me. I smiled, expressing my gratitude which he answered by smiling back.

"Mom, I think Athena and I need some time alone together. Okay lang di ba?"he asked as he hold my hand under the table. Nagkatinginan naman ang parents niya saka tumingin mula sa amin.

"Kenzie, may college pa."tita seriously said. My forehead creases. Why is college involve?

"Mom, what?"

"You can't ruin your life by doing stupid mistakes. Isipin niyo muna ang gagawin niyo. Don't decide hastily."dagdag ni tito. Now, Im confused. Di kaya may alam ang parents ni Kenzie sa mga bomba?Or sa mission namin?

"Why would we do that?"Kenzie asked. He's confused too.

"I know what you're thinking son. Bata pa kayo, after niyong ikasal pwede niyo nang gawin, pero ngayon, bawal pa."Napatingin ako kay Soriano and his eyes widened. Looks like he knew already.

Then why is that I don't get a single thing?

"Dad!Mag-uusap lang kami!"

Tito squinted his eyes while pointing his fork to his son. "Make sure of that. Gusto ko mang magkaapo, alam kong maaga pa."

"Dad!"Soriano flushed. "T-That's impossible. Athena, tara na nga."saad niya saka hinila ako paalis.

"What are you talking about?"I asked.

Mas lalong namula ang mukha ni Soriano. "W-w-w-wala. A-ano nga uli yung s-sa-sa-sabihin mo?"

"I don't have anything to say."I said shrugging.

He sighed. "Alam kong wala akong masyadong alam sa trabaho niyo pero hindi ko ba talaga pwedeng malaman?After all, I was there when you're planning right?"

I took a deep breath before looking at his eyes. "Don't panic."I said seriously. I can feel how tense he is since he's shivering while holding my hand.

"There are bombs, in this mansion."dahan dahan kong sinabi. Tumingin ako sa paligid saka tumingin muli sa kanya. "The bombs are located inside the bodies of the guests."I whispered.

He stood still but his eyes roamed. He's panicking but he's trying to control it. "Meron rin ba sa akin?Sayo?"

I shrugged. "I don't know."

He suddenly lift my chin and kiss my lips. I was taken aback but then I decided to kiss him back.

Nang bumitaw siya, tumingin siya sa akin. I can see how worried he is. "Athena, I love you. So much. If we die—"

I chuckled which made him stop. "Idiot. We won't." Muli akong nagseryoso. "We will find a way to end this shit. We'll live. We'll be together. So don't ever say that again."

"Sorry."

"Say promise."

"Promise."

I smiled. "Good."

Babalik na sana kami sa upuan nang biglang may matinis na tunog. Napatakip ako ng tenga, maging ang ibang tao. What's happening?

Eventually, all the lights turned out. I heard people whispering but I don't understand what they're talking about. Natahimik naman silang lahat ng umilaw ang spot light sa second floor. I heard a female laughing loudly and it came from above. Everyone's focus what's in there and when the woman walked in the spot light, that's when we realize who it was.

"Well then ladies and gentlemen, let's enjoy this party, shall we?"
