Lesson 45 - Sebas's Beatings

Start from the beginning

"The squads are all ready." Brain notifies Climb who walks up to him. The two continue to walk with Brain speaking with him some more. "There are some former orichalcum class adventurers here too, courtesy of Marquis Raeven."

The two walk over to the group.

"Lockmeyer. Nice to meet you." One guy with dirty blonde and sunken-in cheeks greets.

Climb bows respectfully, only to get his attention caught by a familiar call.

"Hey, virgin!"

Gagaran walks up to Brain and Climb, a child sitting on her arm.

"Miss Gagaran, (Y/n), is something the matter?" He pulls out a smile to greet the (h/c) haired girl.

Gagaran's grin never leaves her as she looks down at Climb. "Oh, I was just thinking you might be nervous, so maybe I'd give you a pat on your virgin behind."

Funnily enough, no one takes notice of her virgin comments nor even laughs.

(Y/n) takes in a short breath to contain breaking out into a fit of laughter.

Gagaran looks over at Brain. "You must be Brain Unglaus. Indeed..."

"Do I pass?" Brain replies.

"Huh?" Climb mutters.

Brain looks down at him. "She's here to check out if I'm a warrior she can entrust with you, Climb."

"Is that true?" Climb asks Gagaran in surprise.

Gagaran steps back. "Hell no! It doesn't matter to me what happens to you." She looks back at Brain. "But with you along, things should go more easily."

"Best not to get too careless. There are any number of monsters in this world." Brain says.

"Ho, so you're the prudent type. I'm not averse to a man like that. You're probably not a virgin, but what do you say?" Her grin grows.

"I think I'll pass. I'd likely get crushed under the pressure." Brain replies cooly.

Gagaran laughs. "Oh yeah? That's too bad." She bends down slightly. "Climb, you watch yourself."

"R-Right!" He bows slightly.

With that, her and (Y/n) walk off.

"She's a nice enough lady. Everyone in the Blue Rose is nice, but who was that child with her?" Brain asks.

"Oh, that's (Y/n). She's a new member of their group. I trust them enough to know that there must be something special about that child for her to be with them." Climb smiles.

Brain blinks. "Eh? Eh?! Her?! The child?!" He takes a moment before chuckling tiredly. "Guess you have a point. They wouldn't bring a child here unless the kid had some type of fighting ability. Well, we should get going too."

"Right." Climb nods.

---

Climb and Brain stay close to the walls as they look over at two large and tall gate doors.

Brain suddenly puts his hand on his sword.

"Wait, wait! It's me!" Lockmeyer exclaims, coming out of his invisibility spell. "I just got back." He nervously chuckles.

"Mr. Lockmeyer..." Climb mumbles.

"After using invisibility magic and sneaking in, I learned two things--" Lockmeyer begins. "There's a woman being held captive in the building's prison cell. Also, there are five people here who fit the description of Six Arms members."
