KL POV

I took a second day off school, I was feeling better and somehow managed to convince Jinsoul to go back too. She was late, of course, but regardless, she went. I stayed home but my bed felt cold. I missed her.

Though I missed her, thoughts ran through my mind of her without me and just how often she was without me. We weren't official and nobody knew about us. To be honest, I was scared. I missed being able to watch what she did. I listened to my thoughts and couldn't help but think I sounded crazy. She was her own person and we weren't together. But, we'd kissed, she slept in my bed and cared for me when I was sick. Surely, she has to feel this just as much as I do...

JS POV

I regretted nothing more than going to school that day, without her. Nobody was at home with her, she said she felt better but all I wanted was to take care of her.

I couldn't help but notice people looking at me wierdly, not in a bad way, that was the confusing part. I was getting winks and eyed up and down. "Jinsoul!" A voice bellowed from behind me. I turned to see Sooyoung, I rushed towards her "Why is everyone looking at me wierdly?" I asked, flustered. She replied in a scoff "You actually look decent for once, Soul. You should ditch the hoodie more often." My hoodie. The hoodie I gave Jungeun to sleep in when she was shivering even though she had a blanket, the cover and me with her. "Oh. Is that really all? My hoodie makes that big of a difference?" I asked. "Your hair looks cute down too." She said, ruffling her fingers through my hair. I always wore my hoodie and track pants for this exact reason. The fear that people would notice me. Everyone is a little too obsessed with looks at this school and now I was playing right into that.

KL POV

It was 4pm when my phone rang and woke me up from my nap. It was Chuu. I answered the phone "Can you come outside? I miss you!" She said in a whiney tone. I put my slippers on and headed out to see her. We caught up for a while. Why is it that whenever you miss school, the most stuff happens? I was loosely paying attention until she mentioned Jinsoul. "Your seat partner, Jinsoul, she turned a few heads today." She said as I perked my head up "Why? What happened?" I asked, worried. "Nothing bad, in fact, the opposite. She looked really good and it didn't go unnoticed."

She carried on rambling for a while as I felt myself get angrier. She was mentioning all the girls and guys that were swooning over Jinsoul. Suddenly, she stopped. "Wait a second." She said as she grabbed my arm and inspected the hoodie I was wearing. Sh*t! This is Jinsoul's hoodie, the one she wears everyday at school, the one that everyone specifically noticed she was not wearing today! She threw my arm down and covered her mouth. "Do not... Are you?... Jinsoul?... Jung Jinsoul?" She rambled, frantically. I couldn't tell if she was happy, sad, dissapointed, angry or whatever other emotions there even are. I couldn't tell.

I explained everything that had happened between Jinsoul and me to Chuu. By the end of my explanation, she was happy... Overly happy. We carried on for a while before my phone rang. "I'll get this and call you later. See you Chuu!" I said as I walked back into my house and she ran off towards her's.
The call was from Jinsoul but if Chuu saw that, she'd want it on speaker phone and I didn't exactly know what position me and Jinsoul were even in.

JS POV

I decided to call Jungeun. I was going to give her a little space so she wouldn't get sick of me but I couldn't help it. It was like my body went into autopilot. "Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked after she answered the phone. "Fine." She replied dryly. I could her cars passing by on her side of the phone "Are you outside?" I asked. She went silent for a second before she cleared her throat and replied "Yeah. Just on my doorstep. Chuu actually stopped by. She told me everything that's been going on at school." I wondered what she meant and I was going to ask before she told me her Mom was calling and she had to go, which I knew was a lie.
