For a few seconds, all I could see was black, because my eyes were shut tightly. The wind was so strong, it felt like I was in the midst of a tempest. I could hear nothing but the rush of wind in my ears.

When our fall didn't feel like a falling-to-our-death sort of fall, but more like a flying-like-a-bird sort of fall, I dared to open my eyes.

I saw pure bliss and exhilaration on your face, which I proceeded to mirror. I glanced down, and saw that we were still high up in the air. The parachute was slowing our fall, giving us more time to enjoy that moment.

It was as if time had slowed itself down, for us to savour this moment together.

I stared into your eyes, enthralled by the way the stars in the sky reflected so prettily in your shiny eyes.

"I love you," I blurted out.

You stared back at me with a smile, which hid a deeper meaning I had earlier failed to decipher. "I love you, too."

And then you did something which almost killed me;

You caressed my face, and pulled my face closer to yours, until our lips met.
