Short Story of XiaoWang

CHAPTER 04

The beams of afternoon sun were bright to the eye. Xiao Zhan squinted and sized the distant Wang Yibo up subconsciously.

His hair was dark brown in the sun, not the pure black of an Asian, and when not smiling, he made quite the imposing figure.

Liu Han, walking up beside Xiao Zhan, saw that his pace had slowed, and followed his sight to look at-

"I say, what's that you're looking at, such a handsome guy."

Liu Han also took Wang Yibo in at a glance. According to his physical condition, he should be an alpha. He immediately got excited, saying, "Are you interested? Want me to make inquiries?"

Xiao Zhan replied, "It's my roommate."

Liu Han: "?!"

Xiao Zhan retracted his gaze and walked towards the basketball rack. Liu Han chased after him and said in disbelief, "My Zhan Bao, you won't even view someone like that as worthy? So what are you even looking for?"

Xiao Zhan shot a deadly glance over instantly, "You want to try shouting that again and seeing what happens?"

Liu Han quickly swallowed down the nickname, but still couldn't help but wonder, "Seriously, I think this little xuedi looks pretty good, you won't consider him?"

Xiao Zhan replied, "Too weak, ruled him out."

Liu Han: "......"

An alpha that Xiao Zhan would judge as strong enough, it could be estimated that there were only about a dozen in the school and they were all basically famous school grass3.

"Do you really want to hang yourself on the tree called Zou Rui? He's not that good." Liu Han didn't like Zou Rui very much, having always felt that he was not worth entrusting Xiao Zhan's life to.

It was enough for him to be fine. Where in the world could the perfect partner even be found? He himself had a lot of problems, so he wasn't qualified to require others to have no faults.

Liu Han clicked his tongue a few times, "tsk tsk", thinking that if Xiao Zhan really liked Zou Rui, he would have defended him.

He walked under the basketball net. Xiao Zhan raised his hand and rolled the short sleeves of the T-shirt to his shoulders, exposing the whole of his white arms, dazzling in the sun.

Omegas were born with fairer and softer skin, which didn't easily tan and would quickly return to pale after being tanned. Xiao Zhan had always wanted to be that health wheat-like complexion, but unfortunately his genetics didn't allow it. Luckily, some muscles could still be developed through training. Although he couldn't build a strong physique like alpha, his body was strong among omegas and even betas.

He picked up the basketball and dribbled it a few times. Just as he was about to take a warm-up shot, he was surprised at the sight of someone waving at him out of the corner of his eye.

Wang Yibo cried, "Xuezhang! Xuezhang!"

Liu Han could now understand why Xiao Zhan wasn't interested in Wang Yibo . Although he had good looks, his gentle personality wasn't to Xiao Zhan's taste at all.

Wang Yibo didn't seem to want to give up, asking again, "You really won't watch? I-I run very fast......"

Xiao Zhan felt a little annoyed, "No time. I want to play."

Wang Yibo nodded and smiled, "Okay, jiayou. Xuezhang, I'll come to watch you after I run." After waving a few more times again, he ran back to his class team.

The scene of the conversation between them had been seen by the surrounding classmates. Rarely did an unknown alpha chat with Xiao Zhan without getting beaten up. Several other boys who were playing basketball together came over and asked curiously: "Zhan Ge, who was that?"

"New roommate, he likes me, I don't like him," Xiao Zhan summed it up quickly.

Everyone was stunned speechless, having no chance to ask for gossip.

Liu Han felt a bit sorry for Wang Yibo and said, "That person is so enthusiastic, so please take a look."

Xiao Zhan backed up and jumped, throwing a basketball with one hand. He netted a three-pointer.

"He volunteered, it's not my business. If you want to watch, then watch."

With those words, Liu Han realized that Xiao Zhan really wasn't interested in this alpha, so he gave up and joined the basketball game. However, during the game and during the intermission, Liu Han still observed the track for a while.

The physical fitness test was in groups of four. Wang Yibo 's luck wasn't very good, his turn not coming until late. He kept looking at the basketball court from time to time, seeming both anxious and a bit expectant. However, when it was finally his turn to participate, Xiao Zhan still didn't look at him.

Liu Han saw the physical education teacher give Wang Yibo the signal and he rushed forward like an arrow off the string. He really could run very fast. His loose T-shirt and track pants were pressed against the body by the air pressure generated from his speed. Every stride and move of his arms showed the strength of his body.

Wang Yibo was already far ahead when he reached the last lap. He turned his head to look towards Xiao Zhan's position again. When he saw that he was still not looking back, he couldn't help but feel depressed and he slowed down,. In the end, he was still the first to cross the finish line.

As an alpha himself, Liu Han instinctively felt that this young alpha was a bit intriguing.
