Huh? Who would be calling her at . . . honestly she had no idea what time it even was. She took it and said, "Hey, this is Kim."
"It's Andre." The guy said. "Can you please talk to Shego and get her to bail me out."
Kim didn't know anyone named Andre. "Jail? Sir, I have no idea who you are."
"Riiigghht. Well Andre is my real name not Chaching$."
She almost dropped the phone. How'd he get my number? She knew even Shego didn't have that, right?! "Why are you asking me to ask her?"
"That woman uses burner phones like crazy it's hard to keep up with her. Plus you got tech that she probs don't. Search her and ask her. I need like five thousand or so."
Kim laughed loudly. "There's no way she'll get you out by spending money. She'd rather swim with sharks."
"TRY!" Andre yelled into the phone then hung up.
Kim called Ron and told him everything then called Wade to ask if he could track down Shego.
It was a little harder these days without her doing a lot of bad things.
Wade narrowed it down to an old church with a secret basement.
She snuck around with Ron. "Okay, Wade," She spoke into her watch. "Got a plan?"
"A distraction so the guards will split up." He told her.
Kim knocked loudly three times then went to hide. Several men came outside to look around. They snuck inside and saw how pretty the place was. Yes it was a church, but it had been turned into a massive and lovely place to live. There were open spaces and views to every room except for the ones in the back where she couldn't see.
"You are being recorded." A robot voice said. "Don't try to run."
"Kim, what are we gonna do?" Ron asked.
Kim spoke loudly. "Andre wants you to bail him out."
Over the speaker came her voice. "I'm done with him. Come to the basement if you wanna chat."
Kim and Ron walked into a room with science looking workers. There were other people there too. It looked like these people weren't being held against their will.
"Do I dare ask what all of this is?" Ron said as a he noticed something in the left corner. There was a small kitchen and workers. The sign above it said, Slice of Pie. "K.P. she has her own pizza place!"
Kim wasn't hungry. She wanted answers. "Shego!"
"You don't have to scream." Shego said coming over to her. "My office is over here." She saw Ron salavating over the crisp and cheesey pizza. "Yeah, he can have whatever he wants." She gestured and turned away.
"Score!" Ron yelled happily and went to get his food.
Shego shut the door and got fidgity. "Kim, I know we'll never have a relationship. I gave up on that already." She said, lying clearly.
Kim sighed. "I'd like to get to know you better. I know we started getting to know each other a while back, but that was taken away cause of Drakken's reckless driving."
The helmet had been crushed. Drakken knocked a pole down and the attudinator was destroyed.
"Chaching$ wants a get out of jail free card so I'm passing it on to you GO." She said with a laugh, thinking it was kinda funny.
Shego looked confused.
"You've never played Monopoly, huh?" Kim said, now feeling awkward.
Shego shook her head. "Never was a board game kind of girl. I do know what you're talking about now though. And since our father was in the military, we moved around a few times before settling in Upperton and Go City. There's a lot you don't know about me. You didn't ask in depth questions when were buddies before. We kept it light talking about school and boy's. You're a grown woman now and now we can talk about deeper topics."
Kim felt where this was going. "I do like a boy and I'm currently dating one."
"Could you ever imagine yourself dating a girl?"
"Are you ignoring Cha - I mean Andre?" Kim aked.
Shego rolled her green eyes. "I don't even care right now."
"He said his bail is like five thousand or something."
Shego laughed. "If I help him get out I'm not paying a dime."
And Kim didn't want to know anymore than that. "It's your choice. I don't want details. I might have to take you to the police station."
Shego crossed her arms. "You'd really do that to me now?"
"Only if I have to." Kim warned her and looked away.
Shego changed the subject. "Go on a date with me."
Kim laughed nervously. Did she seriously just tell me to date her? "I . . .I'm with Ron."
"Just one, Kimmie. Please."
Ron came into the room with a full plate of random pizza's. "Ladies, do you want some?"
Shego shook her head and walked to her desk.
Kim felt sick, but it wasn't from the smell of the pizza. "Ron, will you put that down."
"Yeah, I guess." He looked at each girl a few times. "What's up? This room feels strange."
Shego blurted out, "I want to go on a date with your girlfriend."
"WHAT?" Ron shouted, his voice sounding like a wounded hyena. "Why?"
"See there's this thing called a crush and I've had a massive one for the last two years." Shego said gripping a pen.
"I want to say no way. She's mine, but not like a trophy. I . . . Kim, what do you want?"
Kim just wanted to leave. "Hot black rocks thrown at me to knock me out."
"I can arrange that." Shego laughed and winked. "Think about it. I gotta change a problem." She added a second laugh.
Kim grabbed Ron and dragged him out of there. "Let's go home."
Hours later . . .
Andre was hand counting coins for Shego and listening to her go on and on about Kim. "Damn, just chill out! You're making me want to turn myself in so I don't have to listen to this!"
Shego looked hurt, but Kim was a subject she could talk about for hours on end. "Sorry." She'd dressed up as a guard with stolen clothing and ID's. Easily got him out of the jail. They were likely looking for him now. "You're gonna have to lay low and wear a wig or a dress if you go out."
"That's dumb. I don't wanna look like an idiot."
"Then you'll get caught and I won't help you again." Shego told him.
Andre sighed. "Guess I'll do what you say for now."
Shego slowly let a smile come to her face. "Great!"
