Narcissa and I had now been married for just over three years and loving every minuet of it. We had done a bit of traveling to figure out exactly where we wanted to settle down and really start our little family.

We had ended up staying in Manhattan, New York for longer than expected and had become accustomed to our lives here. We shared a nice little penthouse at the top of one of the most popular apartment building this side of town.

With Narcissa's inheritance from both the Black family and the Malfoy family after the divorce, we were set for life. Although I did enjoy having a small day job to keep myself occupied.

I worked four days a week at a cozy little bookshop with a cafe inside, making the place smell like coffee 24/7. I loved the vibes of this dark academiaesque shop in the middle of modernized New York and it kept me busy when we had nothing else going on.

Narcissa still had to uphold her duties as heir to the Black family and dealt with the charity paperwork and ministry stuff that I didn't understand.

When we weren't working the two of us did whatever the Hell we felt like and it was absolutely fantastic. We wanted Italian food for lunch? Apparate to Italy. It's raining for a week straight in NYC? Apparate to the Bahamas. We were living the life of luxury.

Narcissa was currently sitting on the sofa watching a movie and occasionally popping a piece of popcorn in her mouth. As I stared at the beautiful woman in front of me I couldn't help but reminisce about the day we became lifelong partners.

Flashback:

I was freaking the absolute fuck out. My wedding was in less than twenty minutes and my dress would not zip. My breathing was becoming shallow and I didn't know what to do as no one was around.

I whimpered as I bounced on the balls of my feet, trying to force the zipper up as tears formed in the corners of my eyes. I was stressed and nothing was going my way today. I just wanted to marry the love of my life and have a good fucking day. Why was that so hard??

"Darling are you.. hey hey hey I'm here. Let me." In walked my mother to see me about to cry as my dress refused to cooperate with me.

The other woman zipped it with ease as I let out a sigh of relief. She looked at me in the mirror with tears in her eyes.

"You look so beautiful y/n. I've dreamt of this day since the moment you were born but it still came far too soon." I took my mother's hand a squeezed as an act of reassurance.

"I know mom. It's crazy to me too." I pulled on my veil and got ready to walk down the aisle. We were having an outdoor wedding near the beach, the smell of salt and Spring flowers filling the air.

Two trails of rose petals led to the aisle between the seats where they met and combined as we would do as well. Rather than one of us waiting at the alter as with a traditional wedding, we would both be accompanied by our father's up until we reached the aisle and we would turn and walk side by side to the alter.

I was on the left and Narcissa was on the right, our eyes connecting as we both took our father's arms and walked towards each other. We met in the middle and turned to make our way between the guests to the front of the ceremony as our father's left to take their respective seats.

Our vows were short and sweet, each too teary eyed to say much.

"Y/n, you are my best friend, my soulmate, you are everything to me. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on you there was something special about you and I am so glad we decided to see where this would go. I love you to the moon and back y/n y/l/n."

Tears were steadily streaming down my face as she finished up and it was now my turn.

"Narcissa, you were there for me through everything. I have no clue where or who I would be without you and quite honestly I don't want to know. Like you said, from the moment I laid eyes on you I knew. I always knew it was you. I love you so much more than I could ever iterate Narcissa Black."

The priest gave the rest of his speech which I barely heard, too focused on the goddess in front of me in her wedding dress. I was marrying this woman. I had actually convinced someone to spend the rest of their life with me. Crazy..

The honey moon was.. everything you can imagine. Italy was only the first stop for our sexual adventures around the world. After that we started keeping count of all the countries we had fucked in and what new kink we had tried out there. It was becoming quite the list.

End flashback

It was stressful but still the best day of my life. I couldn't help but let out a little giggle at the memory of a partially drunk Chloe spilling wine on Draco's suit. Pansy had been the driving force behind Chloe getting drunk, the blonde girl very much a lightweight.

Draco and Chloe got married barely a year after Narcissa and I, deciding to have their wedding in the French countryside. Pansy and Luna were still dating to this day, neither having much interest in marriage but intending to spend the rest of their lives together. As Luna had said, they didn't need a piece of paper to tell them how much the two women cared for each other.

Blaise had come out as polyamorous and brought his two lovers with him to Narcissa and I's wedding to introduce us. He seemed happier than I had ever seen the quiet Slytherin and I was so incredibly proud that he had found himself.

I was glad the five of us had been able to keep up with each other. They were my best friends and I couldn't imagine just completely forgetting about them as graduates so often did. I still had my childhood friends and my soulmate was sitting mere feet away from me. What could possibly go wrong?
