"Are you gonna tell me what happened now, or should I just nag it out of you?" Robbie asked after several long, silent minutes in the air.

L sighed, she didn't feel like explaining and instead replayed the memory for him to watch. Seeing Bryce's face, hearing his words and tone, it cut deep all over again, but she knew she wouldn't have been able to speak them aloud.

"I can't believe him, why would he react like that? I thought you were awesome, you both looked so intimidating ripping into that guy."

"Who knows why he did what he did, but I don't care to find out. I just want to focus on finding my parents, that's all that matters."

L knew he didn't believe her.

"Do you think he'll follow?"

L snorted, "I doubt it, he's got his own business to deal with." L's inner voice cracked when she repeated his words and the tears began to fall.

Robbie let her cry without saying a word, he knew she needed to deal with it in her own way. She liked that best about Robbie, he knew her like nobody else did; knew when to let her do her own thing and when to say something, or call her out. He was her brother, her best friend, and the only one she could truly rely on.

L wrapped her arms around Robbie's large neck for a very uncharacteristic hug.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For being you, for becoming my friend all that time ago. For staying with me through all of this."

Robbie laughed internally, wisps of smoke blowing from his snout. "Thank you, for giving me these amazing adventures, for releasing the Supernatural in me, and for being one of the best things in my life."

L let out another sob, wiping at her nose with her sleeve.

"I think that's enough mushiness, I'm done indulging in my emotions. I had a life before Bryce and I can have one again. Do I wish he hadn't ruined everything and were traveling with us? Yes, but it can't be helped so we need to concentrate on the task ahead."

"Are you planning on talking to Bryce when we get back?"

"I suppose I'll have to at some point, but it's hard to think about him, let alone talk. For now it's just us and the mission."

Robbie nodded his large head and L proceeded to direct him where to go.

It wasn't long before they reached Kjerag, it was a spectacular sight to behold. The giant rock wedged between the two vertical sides gleamed in a way L had never seen the earth do before.

"Do you see that?"

"The rock? Yeah it looks weird, like it's glowing or something."

"That must be the nexus, we're gonna have to stand on top of it."

Neither felt confident about that decision, but Robbie descended towards the mountain anyway.

"Smell any Demons?" L asked.

Robbie's nose was significantly better in Dragon form.

"Nope, no Demons that I can tell."
