one month after the titan war, a box is hidden in the depths of a closet. the girl steps back, closing her eyes. she holds the key in her hand, rubbing the jagged end with her fingers. the wind is whispering softly, urging her to drop the key.
but she doesn't listen. instead, she sets it on the carpet and steps back, her eyes filled with tears. she raises her hands and whispers a word, and the key disappears.
the box is gone, along with the key.
two years later, the box mysteriously appears on percy jackson's doorstep.
