Chapter 17

"I'm nervous."

"Oh, I see. Tapos center of attention pa tayo ngayon." She laughed a little.

"Sobrang ganda mo ngayon."

"Ngayon lang?"

"Always. But you looked stunning now. Mukha kang prinsesa. Taray may pa-korona."

Nagtawanan kaming dalawa habang sumasayaw.

"Happy 23rd Birthday, Travis."

"Eighteen years... Eighteen years na kitang kasama, Mikaella."

"Ang bilis, 'no?

"I was a baby," depensa nito at natawa lang ako.

"I know. You grown up so well, baby."

"Ang gwapo mo, Travis."

"Salamat. Bigyan kita isang libo mamaya."

"I'm serious bagay sa 'yo 'yang black blazer coat with black dress shirt underneath."

Her hand on my shoulder went down to my collar. Pinaglaruan nito ang nakabukas na butones. I chose not to button the first two so I can breath freely. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. She instantly rested her head on my chest.

"What are you doing?"

"Ang bango mo."

We just enjoyed the rest of the party. There are speeches and the ceremony took a bit long. Mikaella's friends and schoolmates attended too. Some guest are doctors and businessman. I can see how happy she was in her birthday- our birthday.

The party was still ongoing when we decided to go home. She looked so tired and sleepy. I put her down to my bed.

"I told you don't drink that much."

"I didn't.

I removed her heels and put it under my bed so she can see it tomorrow easily.

"You need to change your clothes."

"I don't want," she said in a sleepy tone.

"No, you can't sleep wearing a gown. You have to remove your make up too."

Hashtag woke up like this."

"You're still beautiful even without makeup."

"I know but... I just really love my looks now."

"Hindi pwede." I held her arms and pulled her to sat on the bed. "Mika, you need to remove it. You can't sleep with that, okay? Let's go sa shower na."
