You walk up to the middle of the mat and bow to the crowd.
You do a side spin with the staff and move it upwards.
Y/N: Hiyah!
You then spin it around your neck, do a downward strike, side strike, spin the staff around your hands, and then toss it in the air.
You catch it with your left hand.
Crowd: Woo!!
You spin the staff around your body while leaping and spinning yourself forward.

Landing on your knees, with your hand on the ground, and with your hand holding the staff in the air.

The crowd cheers. You get up and bow to them.
Demetri goes next and uses kamas, Chris does both board and brick breaking, Devon from Eagle Fang does board breaking too, Miguel and Nate with kata, Kenny from Cobra Kai with board breaking, and many more students do their respective skill competition.
At this point on the leaderboard, Miyagi-Do are in first, Eagle Fang is in second, and Cobra Kai is in fifth place.
Daryl: Are you kidding me? What a way to start the skills competition. Clearly, Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang came to play. But with such a tight spread, it's still anyone's game.
The skills competition continues. Sam with sais, Robby does kata, Piper does some more board breaking, Tory uses katana, and Kyler with board and brick breaking. They all ace it.
Mitch goes up next with the bo staff, but he messes up by the staff slipping out of his hands and it gets thrown at the judges. He bows to the crowd and quickly runs off of the mat.
Daryl: Next up, representing Miyagi-Do Karate is Eli Moskowitz, who'll be showcasing board breaking.
Eli starts by punching the board that Demetri is holding in front of him, elbowing another one to his left, and he does a side kick to the one you're holding. Then he faces his next one, Chris has Nate on his shoulder, who's holding a board up.
