You just moved to a new place, all the way from New Jersey. Terrific. New school, new people, and no more comfort. You moved to California, though, that'd be fun, you always had in the back of your mind. But something was missing, for you. Something important. Something that always helped you stay calm and collected, especially in new places and with new faces. On moving day, you went downstairs to take out the first trash of the new apartment, and to people watch for possible new neighbors. Quickly, though, someone catches your eye. It's none other than the thing that was missing, your best friend since third grade, Daniel Larusso.

With Miguel running away to Mexico, their disaster prom night and what happened at the All Valley, Sam's feelings have changed. She's frustrated and fed up with herself. After a party thrown by Moon and Yasmin ends in disaster and an argument with Daniel the next day, Sam finally snaps and starts training with Johnny and Eagle Fang full time, causing her to travel down a dark path. She finds herself in a deep downward spiral and unable to dig her way out. Amanda tries reasoning with her. Daniel tries. Miguel tries. Even Anthony tries. 'It's just like riding a bike-' 'Riding a bike is nothing like karate, LaRusso,' Johnny counters. - John Kreese, an infamous face in the Valley.
