Third Person's POV

Alexandra's body shook with fear as she watched Rubi take steps towards her, her heels clicking loudly on the bathroom floor.

Her small feet unknowingly took her backwards, back coming in contact with the cold bathroom wall.

It all seemed so familiar.

Her hands formed into a fist, nails dug into the skin of her palm as she could sense the familiar feeling of blood dripping. "Rubi." Her voice shook as she watched Rubi and her two friends come closer and circle around her.

"Long time no see, Lex." She said viciously, her hand coming up and squishing Alexandra's cheeks together.

Her eyes watered.

She's afraid of Rubi, just like how she was afraid of them. Rubi has no heart, she's the monster herself.

The monster who lives under children's beds. The monster who everyone's afraid of.

Alexandra's former best friend.

Stacy's bestfriend.

"Please Rubi. Just please let me go." Her voice cracked, she felt weak for giving up so easily. For not fighting, for not cursing at her like she deserves to. And she hated herself for being like that— not being able to stand up for herself.

Rubi's hand that was on Alexandra's cheek, moved down to strangle her neck, where her long nails bored deep into the skin of her neck, instantly making a burning sensation form.

"You really think I'm going to let you go after getting me expelled the last time I saw you?" Rubi snarled, making Alexandra close her eyes from the anger in her eyes that terrified her.

"I didn't do anything." She whispered before biting her bottom lip roughly, the taste of metal touching her tongue.

Alexandra's hand gripped Rubi's wrist, trying to pry them off her neck as they tightened, but her grip was too strong.

"You're going to kill her!" Rubi's friend exclaimed, her eyes moving back and forth between Rubi's hand that continued to squeeze Alexandra's neck, and her face.

Alexandra's nails scratched at Rubi's hand, desperately trying to get it away from her neck, eyes screwed shut and chest heaving up and down as it was getting hard for her to breathe.

"I don't fucking care! I should've killed her a long time ago!" Rubi screeched, her face and neck turning bright red from unreleased anger.

Alexandra could feel the dizziness take over her, she felt weak. But before she could pass out, she brought her foot up and kicked Rubi's shin with as much force as she could muster, which made the grip on her neck loosen until it was completely gone and was replaced by her own hand, trying to protect her neck in case she came at her again.

She greedily took in big breaths of air and tried to calm down the erratic beating of her heart with her eyes closed and her back leaned against the bathroom wall.

Just seconds later, Alexandra's long hair was gripped tightly by Rubi's friend and was pulled back before the back of her head roughly banged the wall. Everything started spinning and her vision blurred with tears from the pain.

"You bitch! You're going to fucking regret this!" Rubi voiced out with her nose scrunched up in pain and her hand clutching her throbbing shin.

She stood up and tried to attack Alexandra again, but before she could touch her, Alexandra moved out of the way and grabbed both of Rubi's arms before furiously throwing her to the wall where she tripped on her heels and fell to the floor.
