ARIZONAS POV:

I'm still not sure why I agreed on the movie night. But I know it's important for Sofia to have both parents. Since Callie didn't replied my question on what I'm supposed to bring, I just cooked some lasagna for dinner and popcorn for the movie. Finally bringing up the courage to actually ring the doorbell, I let my free left hand drive through my blonde locks.
"Hey Arizona. I'm glad you could make it.", my ex wife greeted me. I smiled at her, greeting her back and givin her the lasagna and the popcorn. But before we could keep talking, I heard little footsteps running down the stairs. "Mommyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" And before I could act on it, I felt Sofias little arms around my legs.
"Oh hello my big girl!", I say as I bend down on Sofias high.
“Sofia would you please go upstairs and put your pj's on?", Callie asked as I was done covering Sofias face in kisses. Sofia quickly ran upstairs to put on her Pyjama. It turned out that Callie did in fact replied my message, she just forgot, hitting the send button.
About half an hour later we all sat on the couch and started watching tangled. I would lie if I'd said I didn't enjoyed watching the movie with my family. Even though I'm not sure if we are a family. I mean Sofia and I are mommy and daughter and so are Callie and Sofia. But what are Callie and I? Friends? It's way more confusing then I had hoped it would be.
While watching the movie, Callie and I would sometimes look at each other and wouldn't be bothered if we caught the other one. We would exchange quick sad smiles and then would look back at the tv. The memories made me sad that the sad smile used to be a happy smile but I can't and don't want to let Callie nor Sofia notice that. Pretty much at the end, Sofia fell asleep with her head on my lap and her feet on Callie, covered with a soft blanket. "We should bring her to bed. Must have been a few exhausting weeks for her.", Callie said. I agreed and so I took her in my arms, about to carry her.  "Are you comfortable carrying her? Or is it too much for your leg? Cause I could take her as well.",Callie offered. She always knew when my leg was bringing me pain again, but today I would just look over it and would tell Callie like I usually would.
Kissing Sofia good night as we both stand over her bed, I can't help but feel the awkward tension between Callie and I. I take a step back as she was about to give Sofia her food night kiss. Not that Sofia would notice since she already fell into a deep slumber.
Callie and I walked back downstairs and I started to pack my things.
"Wait, I thought you may want to stay a little. You know, talk about how we will continue taking care of Sofia and maybe just talking at all a little. We haven't done that in a while." I crunch my nose a little, actually being happy to go home, but knowing that Callie is right." I mean we don't have to do it like right now, but I thought it'd be better the sooner we would.", and with that, I put my purse back on the little table it was before and go back into the living room.
