LUKANETTE S4 - OPTIGAMI - PT 5

Ladybug rolls her eyes. 'On second thought...' she laughs quietly.

They all go to the Tour Montparnasse roof, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Senti-Viperion did a three-way fist bump.

'Pound it!'

'I don't get it though. It was so easy to beat the villain this time.' Ladybug says

Shadowmoth speaks through Senti-Viperion: 'It's because you had good partners!'

'I wasn't much help!' Cat Noir says. 'Look, I still have to get rid of this somewhere!' he says, pointing to his activated cataclysm.

But Ladybug wasn't really listening. She could sense something was off.

'Well... I think I'll go and find somewhere to get rid of this!' Cat Noir says, pointing to his cataclysm. 'Bye guys!' he says as he vaults away with his baton.

Shadowmoth through Senti-Viperion: 'Scales rest.'

He quickly takes off the snake miraculous to deactivate it and hands it back to Ladybug before Sass can warn her.

'I don't understand.' Optigami's eyes open on the Snake Miraculous without her noticing. 'It's been too easy.'

Nathalie hears Ladybug's conversation through Optigami on her screen.

'I didn't even get to use my Lucky Charm.' Ladybug said. 'Normally it's been the key element to defeat the villain.'

Shadow Moth grins from the male restrooms. 'Our trap has just snapped shut, Ladybug!'

'Thanks for your help, Luka' Ladybug says as she holds her hand out to him and he shakes her hand.

'Anytime Ladybug' Shadowmoth through Senti-Luka replies.

But something felt off to Ladybug. He didn't have the same warmth; she didn't get the same feeling of butterflies in her stomach when she looked into his eyes.

Ladybug felt suspicious.

'You know....' Ladybug says, letting go of his hand and turning her back to him. 'It's strange that I didn't even have to use my Lucky Charm...'

She looks in the compact mirror back at him and Senti-Luka lights up and she notices something missing.

She turns to face him again and looks at him suspiciously.

'Where's your necklace?' she asks him.

Shadowmoth was taken aback by this question. Senti-Luka gulps. 'Uh, necklace? What necklace?' he asks.

'Hmm...' she calls Cat Noir on her bug phone, while still staring down Senti-Luka suspiciously. "Can you come back kitty? We may have a use for your cataclysm after all."

'You called LB?' Cat Noir says as he came back, still with his active cataclysm.

She turns to Cat Noir. 'We're gonna have to be a lot more careful now. Shadow Moth knows the identities of some of the people I have given a miraculous to, and apparently, he's decided to use this information.'

She looks back at Senti-Luka.

'Isn't that right, Shadow Moth?'

Senti-Luka looks nervous.

Nathalie is in shock that Ladybug figured out their trap. 'Impossible!' she says.

'How did she figure it out?' Shadowmoth cries angrily.

Luka hears him and smiles.

'Cat Noir, I need you to cataclysm this!' Ladybug says, holding out the snake miraculous.

'But that's a miraculous!' Cat Noir replies, horrified.

'Trust me!' she says.

Cat Noir trusts her and uses his Cataclysm to destroy the Miraculous.

Optigami flies out from the Miraculous after it's destroyed.

'I knew it!' Ladybug says.

In Nathalie's room, Nathalie cries out in pain after the miraculous is destroyed, cutting communication with Optigami.

In the male restroom, Shadow Moth groans in anger. 'One day, I'll get you Ladybug! Senti-Luka, I release you from your existence.' He clicks his fingers and Senti-Luka turns to dust, in front of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

'I knew you'd never win! Ladybug is too smart for you!' Luka cried out. 'And she's going to be the one to get your miraculous and save Nooroo and Duusu from you, you evil, cold-hearted monster! I bet you don't even treat them as your friends!'

Shadowmoth growled at him. 'Kwamis are nothing more than tools made to serve humans! Besides, I don't need a lecture from the likes of you! I will never let a child defeat me! I will get my hands on Ladybug and Cat Noirs miraculous one way or another!' Shadowmoth cries out angrily. He breaks the window with his cane and escapes down the fire escape, into an alley where he detransforms into Gabriel as he walks out onto the street and gets into his bodyguards' car, which is waiting for him.
