Tall black kid: I'll get the door.
Eli: So you guys wanna be Cobra Kai's, huh?
Eli raises his fist like he's gonna punch them, and the tall black kid stumbles back.
Eli: You got a long road ahead of you.
He and Miguel make their way into the dojo, the door closes behind them.
White kid: Why'd you do that?
Tall black kid: I didn't do anything.
Y/N: Hey. What's your names?
White kid: Mitch.
Tall black kid: Chris.
Y/N: You're new, after a few weeks you'll be friends with all of them. Alright? Oh and make sure to call the Sensei, Sensei. Not teacher or sir, Sensei.
Chris: Okay.
You start to walk in but stop.
Y/N: Aren't you going to open the door for me?
Mitch and Chris both look confused.
Y/N: I'm waiting.
Mitch opens the door.
Y/N: Just because I'm being nice, doesn't mean I won't be hazing you guys.
You walk into the dojo to meet up with Eli and Miguel.
You three walk further in to see one of the mirrors missing and it's broken shards below. In a corner, there are burn marks on the wall and in a trash can.
Miguel: What the hell happened here?
Aisha: Looks like Sensei threw a party.
Eli: Must've been pretty sick if the fire got involved.
You all chuckle and start getting ready.
Miguel: Look at how much glass there is.
Y/N: Did he do this all by himself? Sensei doesn't have many friends.
Johnny: Quiet!!!
Sensei Lawrence walks out of his office and goes up to the new students.
Johnny: The dojo's closed to new students today.
Chris: We just wanted to sign up after we saw the tournament.
Johnny: Do I need to say it again? Get out!
Mitch: Yes, sir. Sensei.
Mitch turns around.
Mitch: Come on, let's go.
Every single one of them leaves the dojo.
Johnny: Let's go, move it. Come back tomorrow. And bring your checkbooks.
Sensei Lawrence turns to all of you.
Johnny: Everyone, fall in!
You, Eli, and Miguel go up front.
Eli: Must've been a rager, Sensei.
Miguel: Yeah, were you celebrating all weekend?
Johnny: Celebrating what? My students are a bunch of pussies. Diaz, Hawk, up front!
Eli and Miguel step forward. They turn around and then face the entire class.
Johnny: Hawk. Did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?
Eli: Yes, Sensei..?
Johnny: Diaz. Did you purposely attack your opponent's injury?
Miguel: Yes, Sensei.
Johnny: You think that makes you badass?
They look at each other.
Johnny: What's the matter, too tough a question? Maybe you need some help.
Sensei Lawrence looks at you.
Johnny: Mr. L/N.
Y/N: Yes, Sensei?
Johnny: Two cobras are in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion. The other kills a crippled monkey. Which cobra do you wanna be?
Y/N: The cobra that kills the lion, Sensei.
Johnny: What about you, Miss. Robinson? Who would you want to be?
Aisha: The cobra.
Johnny: And why is that?
Y/N: Because it killed a stronger animal.
Johnny: Correct! Cobra Kai is about being badass. And the baddest badass is the one who beats his opponent when he is at his strongest.
Sensei Lawrence gets in Eli's face.
Johnny: Not when his back is turned!
He then gets into Miguel's.
Johnny: Not when he's injured!
Sensei Lawrence looks back to everyone else.
Johnny: Is that understood?
Cobra's: Yes, Sensei.
Johnny: That means no more cheating. No more fighting dirty. From here on out, those are pussy moves, and you don't wanna be pussies, do you?
Cobra's: No, Sensei.
Johnny: Good. It's why I had you wear white belts, we're starting over. Diaz, Hawk, fifty push-ups on your knuckles.
Eli: Sensei. Respectfully, why isn't Y/N doing any push-ups?
You look at Eli, wondering why he would call you out like that.
Johnny: He already learned his lesson. Mr. L/N, warm them up.
Y/N: Yes, Sensei.
You move to the front and face the rest of Cobra Kai.
Y/N: Fighting position! Jab punch, ready? Hiya!
They punch.
Cobra's: Hiya!
Y/N: Hiya!
They punch again.
Cobra's: Hiya!
Once Eli and Miguel finish doing their push-ups, they join in.
Miguel then breaks off and goes into Sensei Lawrence's office.
At the End of Training
Johnny: Tonight, I want you guys to watch Over the Top. The movie has Rocky Balboa himself, Sylvester Stallone. Next class we're going to be discussing it. Class is over. Get out!
Cobra's: Yes, Sensei.
You all leave for the door.
Eli: We can watch it at my place.
