Camp Cretaceous: Apex Predator

S2: EP:1 - Beacon Of Hope

3rd person pov.

"RUN! RUN! RUN!" Darius screamed at everyone. In that moment they're running beside a Parasaurolophus that's being chased by Rexy.... The Tyrannosaurus Rex. So that's why they're panicking.

"Is the Parasaurolophus still there!?" Brooklynn asked from behind Maurice. She was helping Sammy carry Yasmina, Kenji was to scared to help.

The juvenile Para was 7-8 feet tall and Kenji looked up at it to see the Para staring at him, Rexy sidelines them and wen for a quick bite on the Para.

"Ahhhh! Not anymore!" Kenji replied shouting.

The Para dodged the attack, Rexy nearly trampled it and Kenji. The Para thinks they're the part of the herd, so it followed them the entire time. Everyone ran behind a tree, the Para followed to their left and Rexy cuts it way from the right. She isn't interested in them at the moment.

Rexy circled around the tree and took a quick lunge at the Para nearly grabbing it. They all noticed a fallen tree and knew that was the best place for cover. They ran towards it, there was a small gap between it and the ground. Darius slipped under it, Kenji and Maurice helps Sammy, Yasmina and Brooklynn over, they hopped over the log but nearly getting hit by the Para's tail.

The continuous cries and roars of two dinosaurs frightened them. They all huddled up together. Until Brooklynn realized someone's missing.

"Wait where's (Y/N)?" She whispered to the others.

-Meanwhile with (Y/N)-

"Owwww.... I just reunited with them and now they left me behind again." He mutters rubbing his head from being pushed and slipping under a tree's roots where a nest is built. He feels a draft behind him, he took off his jacket and inspects it.

"Oh c'mon! Really?!" He shouted as he saw a huge rip on the back of his jacket."I liked this jacket!" He huffed and puts it back on again.

"Now where the fuck did they run off to?" He thought out loud crawling out, then looks around and sniffing out their scent. He caught their scent but with two others, one he recognized as Rexy, the other his favourite meal.

"Of course... They've been chased again." He mutters sighing out. He hears a flap of wings behind him and saw a lone Pteranodon hovering and looking at him.

"But first a quick snack." He growled in delight, as he ran up to it and pounced holding it down and pinning it to the ground.

"Thanks for the meal!" He shouted as he winds up his transformed fist back. Looking at the poor tweety who's squirming on his grip in hunger.

-Back to the group-

The last cry came from the Para and then suddenly the ground shooked. Signaling that the T-rex had slammed the Para into the earth successfully grabbing it. They saw firsthand the power that the T-rex possessed in its jaws.

The Para gave its last whimper before they hear a disgusting juicy crunch. Maurice peeked over the tree and saw Rexy dragging her meal away.

"They're gone." Maurice informed them.

"So is (Y/N)!" Brooklynn reminded them, they all looked around to find the missing teen not moving away from the fallen tree. They look for a minute until Yasmina shouted.

"Found him! He's over there!" She points the direction the teen is walking towards them. They all let out a sigh of relief.

"Where'd you go?!" Brooklynn asked him, the teen looks at her annoyed.
