First Love

Part - 9

Two weeks have gone since Suyash left for London and day by day Parvati and Suyash's growing yearning to be with each other has made the days difficult for them.  

Today Parvati and Narayani have their early morning flight for London. It has taken two weeks to complete all the visa and passport work, it might have taken longer but Suyash's good connection with legal authorities have made the work easier for them. Parvati smiles looking at Suyash's name on her engagement ring. She will be with him soon, just a few more hours of waiting, she consoles her heart.  

"Chale, Parvati?" Narayani asks, as her daughter steps out of the room. Parvati nods her head in yes and asks the servants of the Mehra mansion to keep hers and Narayani's luggage in the car. When Parvati and Narayani step out to the front yard they are surprised to see a line of cars stopping in front of the mansion and Agarwals stepping out of those cars. 

Parvati feels happy seeing them. Receiving an earful from Narayani has made an impact on Agarwals and as the days passed they have realized their wrong doings, and wants Parvati to be happy at least now. When they came to know through Kamal and Pallavi that Parvati is leaving for London they have come to apologize to Parvati. Parvati forgives them wholeheartedly and bids them farewell with happy tears. She is happy and feels relieved as she wants to start her new life without breaking anyone's heart. 

Suyash is on his way home from his office. Here it is quarter to 9 in the night. He is at the backseat and closes the laptop, he looks at the starry sky and smiles, he has to get through just this night without Parvati and tomorrow she will be with him. He takes his mobile and sends her a text message asking about the flight. Parvati is in flight waiting for take off and a smile curves her lips seeing Suyash's text message. She replies immediately about boarding the flight and also informs him about the Agarwals. Suyash feels happy for Parvati as she has mentioned a few times about Agarwals and he has consoled her and asked her to be patient. He is glad that her wish to leave for London without hurting anyone's heart is fulfilled. 

After almost 11 hours of flight, Parvati and Narayani step foot in London. Parvati shudders a little as the cold breeze caresses her. She is glad that she listened to Suyash who had advised her to wear a long coat and keep herself warm as London's weather will be cold compared to India's. She looks around her, all those pretty girls with fair skin, and beautiful blue and hazel eyes. She feels a sting of jealousy in her heart realizing Suyash's office might be filled with such beautiful women.  

When she steps out of the airport she finds Suyash and Mrs.Wadhwa waiting for her and Narayani. A huge smile covers everyone's face as they meet each other. Suyash welcomes Narayani and then egulfs Parvati in a tight hug. She closes her eyes, embracing him back. ParYash missed each other a lot. Narayani and Mrs.Wadhwa smile looking at their children. 

They are on their way home. Parvati looks at Suyash who is driving and smiles. 

"Safar kaisa raha?" Mrs. Wadhwa asks.

"Accha raha koi pareshani nahi hui. Aap ko aur Suyash ko hum bahut miss kar rahe the, Parvati toh bas ek ek pal gin rahi thi yahan aane ke liye," Narayani says.

Suyash hears their conversation and smiles at Parvati who lowers her gaze and smiles. He holds her hand and brings it to his lips. He plants a kiss on her hand while driving. Her eyes widen in surprise and quickly pulls her hand back. She turns back and feels relieved that her mother and Mrs.Wadhwa have not seen them. Suyash chuckles silently at her.

"Ab ghar mein raunak aa jayegi aap dono ke aane se," Mrs.Wadhwa says to Narayani. 

Soon Suyash stops the car in front of a beautiful and huge mansion. Mehra's residence is in a peaceful and scenic neighbourhood a little away from the urban space of Central London.
