Chapter 14

Ugly.
Stupid.
Babyish. The words roll in his head, and he crouches in the corner, shaking.

"Leave me alone!" he cries. The voice laughs. He wishes that Link was here.

You are all alone. Your brother can't save you.

Toon awakes with a gasp, breathing heavily and covered with sweat.

"Toon? What's wrong?" Link asks. Toon looks up at his face. In the dark, his clothes look black and his hair white.

"N-nothing." Toon says, sliding off the couch.

He stands over the sink and splashes cold water on his face. It feels good. He looks up at the mirror, and gasps. It's the boy from school. He notices, he looks exactly like him, but dark.
