"This is Secretary of Defense Taylor, have the aliens made any attempt of making demands", the nerve racked man on the other side of the line firmly spoke " No sir they have not, but there was a woman with a powerful weapon like staff she used to stop massive pieces of debris from the fallen ship that made way for us, but from what we can see they look drained and possibly sustained injury's" General Reid responded
" Have we tried making contact with them, to see what they want"
No sir we haven't the men have been on edge after the aliens spawned a plot of land beneath the ship and the barrier" Reid explained " we're fixing to send in mini drones inside to get better visual. The ground around the soldiers began to once again shake this time no where near as intense as before, from the ship a bridge made from a strange energy force manifested itself reaching land.
Three members from the ship began walking for the soldiers it became clear that two of them were carrying an injured woman.
Reid looked grabbed a pair of binoculars with his left hand still holding the phone near his ear "Sir I'm gonna have to call you back". The Secretary sat his phone down and watched upon a massive screen as the aliens made way
Three aliens all wearing some sort of light black armor with some strange symbol on the chest. What he saw exactly what there was an abstract letter A the with strange patterns around it.
"weapons steady men, do not engage until we know for certain their intentions". Reid slowly began walking towards the energy bridge before stopping in front of the barrier. My name is General Reid you are on the planet E-" Reid started "Earth" the woman said barely able to stand. The three aliens reached the barrier, "we are in danger and need your help and assistance"
"And why exactly should we believe anything you say, we don't know who you are or where you came from"
"My name is Sage Mantinella, and we are from the planet Sicraria" she said clearly exhausted and hurting
"My name is Crimson Alistir' my leader is need of help she has used much stamina and our ship is destroyed, we've suffered many casualties along the way, we know this is a lot to take in, but we would be grateful"
"How can we possibly help you if what you say is true, this could be a trap" Reid said cautiously and hesitantly. "We are not the one to be afraid of I promise you that General you have my word, it's ok you can release me" the exhausted Sage spoke before attempting to walk as she told Crimson and the other escorter to let go, before collapsing onto the ground unconscious.
"Can't believe I'm doing this, How can we help" Reid told Crimson. "We just need a way to the Black forest of Revanoir.
"I'm sorry, the what" Reid asked, "help us get there and you shall see for yourself" Crimson replied holding out his right hand
Distrustful and full of worry and doubt Reid took crimson's hand and spoke through his comms, alerting all military personnel to stand down, but stay vigilant
''bring one of the helicopters near for rescue and escort the aliens to this 'Black Forest'' Reid commanded speaking in a cautious tone
A large gray helicopter that had been circling the downed ship, had slowly made its approach to the energized bridge to gather Sage, and crimson and the others that remained
Once all of them were loaded up, Sage had fallen into a deep coma like sleep, ''she needs to rest to regain her strength" Crimson explained looking forward at General Reid
Reid quickly looked out towards the sky, ''how long will it take for that" he nervously responded
''It could be days or weeks, she really fought hard to protect us all, it took alot out of her" Crimson said in mellow tone, "we owe her alot, we wouldn't be here now if wasn't for her willingness to protect us" he continued
General Reid had returned his eyes to looking at Crimson, "this 'Black Forest' what exactly is it"he nervously asked
"It is the entrance to an alternate reality, it is out new Home" Crimson spoke now looking out to sky as they all made their way to the Black Forest.
