Chapter four

We both pulled away and looked towards the door to see Hunter standing there like a statue.

I opened my mouth but then close it just like a fish. This is the first time I don't know what to say to him. 

I saw him clenching his jaw before storming out of the door towards his room.

"I'll talk to him, alright?" Mason said his lips little swollen but his face was still shocked 

I shook my head no "I-I'll talk to him" Biting my lip, I walked towards his room 

Silently knocking on the door, I haven't wait for an answer and opened the door to see him sitting on his bed with his hands on his face

"H-Hunter I-"

"I came to you to fucking apologize and you were kissing my best friend? What the fuck is wrong with you giving your first kiss to this douchebag" He waved with his hand and come closer to me just to close the door so no one will hear us shout

"H-how do you know it's my first?" I asked curiously and scrunched my eyebrows 

"Oh come on, you are too innocent to do these things more often" He pointed into my face 

"You don't know a thing about me, Hunter," I said through gritted teeth into his face

"Alright then tell me it wasn't your first kiss you just waisted on Mason" he raised his voice at me

"It wasn't" I clenched my jaw and looked away 

"You are a really bad liar, Daisy," he said into my face before walking away into his bathroom 

I wanted to punch him so bad right now. Blood is boiling in my veins and smoke is coming out of my ears. 

I stormed out of his room and up the stairs. I'm angry, I'm furious. How can be someone so cocky? 

"Daisy?" a soft knock interrupted me from my thoughts

I snapped my head in the direction of the door to see Mason standing there with a sad and worried face

"I-I'm sorry for kissing you but you wanted to know what I was thinking about and you were so close and so on-"

"I wanted to wait for your 18th birthday to ask you on a date but you skipped a few points in my plan with that kiss," he said and stroked the back of his head 

I widened my eyes when I heard what he said. Does he like me? Like, really likes me? Is that some kind of joke or something cuz it definitely seems like it

"Y-you what?" I stuttered as I stood there completely frozen

"I like you" he whispered as he closed the gap between us and kissed me the second time today but I pulled away after a few moments

"M-Mason, the kiss down there, I-it was just a moment thing. I used to have a crush on you but now, it's long gone, I'm sorry I didn't think when I did it"

"Are you sure?" he asked in a lower voice. His eyes were sad, very sad. I swear I saw them watered 

"I'm sorry" My voice cracked as I looked at the floor

"It's okay, sorry for stealing your first kiss like that," he said and smiled at me 

I chuckled and looked back up "It wasn't that bad" we both chuckled at that
