"Yes he is, should I transfer you?" His assistant responds
"No that's fine, thanks" I said

Mr Kennedy's P.O.V
9:20am
"Ms Gordon is here to see you sir" katrina says through the phone
Huh?
"Who?" I respond in confusion.
Because why would she even dear...
She is so stubborn. I specifically told her not to come this week.
"Ms Gordon...marketing..." she says
"Yes I kno- just send her in" I respond in dismissal.
Destiny walks in and takes a seat right infront of me. She looks tired, her eyes are a bit puffy and I don't sense the positive aura that she radiates.
She looks at me, waiting for me to say something.
I then broke the silence.
"You wanted to see me." I said
"Umm yea, so thank you for saving me that night, I'm forever grateful and need to apologize for putting you in that awkward situation, I wish I could repay you..." she says apologetically
She started to ramble to the point she's not making any sense but it's cute.
"Ok ok I get it, no need to apologize it's no problem" I said stopping her.
I continue "why are you here?" I say seriously
She started fidgeting her hands and squirming on her seat.
"Sir, I could not stay home I need to get some work done"
"It's Alex and I gave you an order" I say sternly
Why does she continue to disobey me at every given time?
"Ok I'm sorry that I didn't listen to you but please spare me" she said
When she said that she looked adorable, her bright eyes staring up at me, I couldn't say no.
Fuck.
"Ok fine." I said giving in
"Thanks, and I'm going on leave the first week of January to spend more time with my mom, the time off in December that we get isn't enough"
There was a pause between us.
"You can't do that" I said
"You have no authority to tell me that" she says cheekily
Seh bet.
"Remember those documents you refused to sign but signed it anyway?" I said
She gave a blank stare then silently said 'oh'
"Yea break that contract you'll not only lose your job but possibly be black balled. I said.
Instead of protesting any further she changed the subject to something I thought we moved on from.
"Should I go to the police?" She asked softly
Lol.
"It's already been dealt with"
