Graduation

3 months later

It's the day of graduation and hope is getting ready while her her parents fuss over proud their daughter is finally graduating

"Okay dad I'm gonna be late"

"Let me adjust the hat"

hope stands still as her father gets her graduation cap putting it on

"Hayley come take a picture"

With the camera in hand hayley brings it up flashing getting a picture of hope

"That's it mum I have to go"

Klaus and Hayley take a look at the camera hope then races to the door

"Enjoy honey"

"Love u guys"

Parking her Lamborghini Hope runs across holding her cap

Her friends wave over to come join them listening to Mr Dorian call out students on stage handing them their certificates

"Jed Tien"

Jed yeets up from his chair running to collect his certificate

"I'd like to say a few words first I wanna thank my friends they're like a second family to me hope alyssa kaleb mg ethan josie lizzie and obviously myself.......

"Ok jed that's enough"

Taking a bow jed moves off the stage back with the others as ethan lets him back to his seat

Lizzie takes her certificate with style keeping it quick

"Kids of the future take a book out of lizzie salvatore"

Mg hugs her from behind as she screams at being picked up

"You idiot"

"Sorry liz I had to"

They laugh

"Milton Greasley"

A cheerful Mg shakes his teacher's hand smiling into the camera as the camera takes a pic

Ethan high fives with the others as he gets ready to collect his graduation scroll

"Hard work equals success that's all the advice I can give"

The camera flashes

Alyssa strolls over flicking her hair taking a picture with Mr dorian

"Finally I'm free from this lame school"

"Alyssa"

"But thanks for the certificate"

Kaleb pulls out his bling getting up from his seat to the steps head held high

"Kaleb Hawkins"

"Umm yeah I have nothing to say"

Dorian rolls his eyes at the lack of words from kaleb but still hands him his certificate

Recognising that long shiny hair anywhere josie makes her way to the stage thanking Mr Dorian accepting her scroll

"High school has been a rollercoaster of a journey but I don't regret it"

Josie winks at hope

Hope puts a hand to her heart

"Hope Mikaelson"

Walking up the steps hope takes a photo with the scroll given to her

She smiles at her fellow classmates

"I'm not the best example but just follow wherever your heart takes u trust me when I say that "

Eyes on josie she sees the girl blow a kiss to her

Hope gushes

With the graduation complete after catching up with the rest hope looks for josie

Standing their smiling with sister and parents

Hope takes a while looking at the girl beaming with light looking so angelic in her graduation outfit holding her scroll

It takes her back to when she first met her when they were kids as she walked in that classroom turning hope's head

Their first interaction was in the playground Hope was playing robbers and josie was dressed as a princess

Caroline and Hayley were watching their kids play

Hope had chased josie into the treehouse

As little josie started to cry hope felt bad and surrendered putting her fake sword down pulling out faces to make her laugh which worked

"Hey hope"

it's josie she looks a bit shy trying to hide a smile

"Hey beautiful"

"What were you daydreaming about"

"The first time I met you"

Josie laughs thinking back at the memory

"Oh god I remember you were dressed as this robber while I was the princess then you started chasing me with this fake sword"

"I went easy on you"

"Hmm sure you did"

"Don't forget I made u laugh after"

"I know it's one of my favourite memories"

The share a sweet kiss

Everyone gets in Hope's car as they drive off for some celebratory celebration having a few drinks
