The Park

It's a sunny day in mystic falls as ethan and josie are having a picnic at the park

"How are the sandwiches"

Ethan stuffs one in his mouth giving a thumbs up

Josie giggles at the boy

Laying down some plates she gets out some cream pastries

He picks it up and goes to feed josie as she brings herself closer

A ball comes there way ruining the food as it rolls over

Hope comes over

"Funny to see you two here"

"Behave Hope"

Josie rolls her eyes

"So josie can you pass my football"

She picks up the ball then fumbles in her cardigan pocket holding up a small needle and pokes it in the ball as it loses air leaving nothing but a busted ball

Josie grins at an angry looking hope

"You did that on purpose salvatore"

"And What are u gonna do about it mikaleson"

Ethan gets between the two holding them back

"Let's not do this we're supposed to be friends"

"Oh please like I'd ever wanna be friends with her"

"Same here I mean your too much of a snob for my taste"

Hope checks her watch

"Enjoy your date kids"

She jumps in a car with a bunch of older teens from our school as they drive off

Back to Ethan and Josie

Tidying up josie sees a bit of cream on the corner of ethan's lips

He looks at her

"What"

she takes a napkin out of the basket and reaches his the corner of his lips wiping it off as he just stares softly forming a smile towards her

"Your a very helpful person"

"I try"

Now walking her home ethan notices josie starting to huddle herself

"Here take this"

Ethan takes of his varisty jacket and puts it over a shaking josie

"It's fine really"

"Josie it's ok you can give it back later"

A few steps approaching her doorstep josie turns to Ethan

"I really enjoyed today"

"Me too"

Looking around awkwardly Ethan breaks the ice

"So you wanna do this again go on another date"

"Yes I mean yeah"

He then leans in slowly as josie eyes closed feels a pairs of lips on her she reciprocates the kiss

A now blushing josie smiles

"I should get going but I'll see you at school"

"Yeah take care josie"

"You too"

Going in josie shuts the door behind her leaning against it feeling giddy from having her first kiss with Ethan the boy she has had a crush on since she was a kid

Heading to the kitchen

Josie finds her parents sitting down with a letter as the two seem are busy discussing it

"Hey mum dad what's with the letter"

Lizzies comes in just in time standing next to josie

"Well it's seems klaus and hayley have invited us to a Mikaelson event"

"Oh crap"

Josie turns to lizzie

"I can't go I have tuition that day"

"Isn't Hope your girlfriend" says Caroline

"Yeah but I really need to pass my exams I'm already failing in class"

Stefan gets up from his chair

"It's settled I'll take Josie with me"

"No I don't wanna go"

"Why not"

"Because and plus I might meet up with Ethan"

"Josie know the rules it will be rude if one of you didn't show up lizzie really needs to pass her exams as  I had a call from school last week about her getting a d minus"

josie pouts

"it'll be fine plus hope will be there to keep you company when I talk with her parents"

Josie shakes her head trying to control herself from blowing up infront of her family

"I'm fine by myself"

Lizzies looks towards her annoyed sister

"You know the two of you will have to get along she is my girlfriend after all"

"I'll think about it"

Stefan kisses both his daughters foreheads as their mother Caroline cooks some dinner
