An Errand

At the doctors hope looks frantically waiting for the doctor as maya is on her phone

Stepping in the doctor greets them as he sits at his desk

"What can I help you with today"

Maya switches of her phone answering

"We'll doctor I just want you to do some test to prove that I'm pregnant you know since my partner.... I mean friend here doesn't believe me"

"No problem"

About thirty minutes coming out the doctors room

Hope just walks off as maya rolls her eyes calling out

"Hey where do you think your going"

She grabs hope's arm as she spins around

"I can't do this maya I don't want the kid"

"How can you say that it's because of that bitch isn't it"

"Don't talk about her like that"

"Look I'm sorry it's the hormones I'm all over the place hope and I really need you"

Feeling sorry for the girl hope softens up

"Okay fine I'll help but just leave it at that okay nothing else is gonna happen"

"Wanna get some donuts please I've been craving them recently"

"go on"

Taking the girl on her offer hope walks with maya as they head over to the bakery across the street

Josie is trying to reach hope on the phone as she minds their child with nik seeing as grace is in new orleans with klaus and hayley for a bit

Nik is playing a car game in the living room while romeo is watching the older boy play

Leaving her phone on the table josie goes to the kitchen to her tray of brownies that she made earlier

Sitting by romeo and nik she shares the brownies with the boys which delights them

"Oh my god josie bear these are the best brownies ever right romeo"

romeo just nods

"Thank you nik I'm glad you liked my homemade brownies"

tugging her dress josie picks up romeo as he lays in his mums arms looking tired

"He looks sleepy"

"It's getting late I should put him to bed"

"I wonder where hope is"

"Same nik that's something I've been thinking about"

Nik carries on playing his car game as josie heads upstairs with romeo

Arriving home late hope gets off her jacket and goes to the living room seeing no one around

Upstairs she checks nik's room to see him asleep

Down the hall turning to the right

Checking the room the sight adores her seeing josie snuggled up with their baby boy fast asleep

Stepping inside she gently closes the door not making a sound and joins them cuddling up behind josie laying a kiss on her shoulder

The next day early morning

Hope rubs her eyes to see josie and romeo are not here

looking out the window she sees the bright sun shinning in her eyes

Jogging down the stairs she finds everyone around the kitchen

nik shows his transformer toy to romeo a infant who doesn't have a clue at his age about stuff like this

The smell of freshly made pancakes steals hope's senses as josie places them on a plate stacking them

"Everyone enjoy"

From the fridge josie gets a juice box giving it to Romeo sat in his highchair

Hope helps him with the juice box opening the wrapper from the straw

"There you go son"

Hope looks up seeing josie holding a fork with a piece of pancake

Gushing hope takes a bit as josie puts a piece in her mouth

Hope kisses the girl with all the love she has

"Hmm I love you"

"I love u too"

Nik makes a gaging noise as hope shoots him a look while josie laughs

A phone buzzes getting everyone's attention

"Who's that"

Reaching for her pocket hope sees it and ignores it without second thought

"So hope where we're you last night"

"Just had to run an errand"

Josie doesn't seem to believe this but doesn't further question it

"Oh okay but next time just tell me so I know your okay"

"Don't worry nothings gonna happen"

Hope strokes her hand

"Babe i was thinking i should go back to my cheerleading team I really miss it"

"Yeah of course u can that is if your stable I just wanna make sure your health is okay after giving birth"

"I'm great hope and it will be fun it's been so long I miss all the girls on the team there like sisters to me"

"Okay baby whatever you want"

Hope takes a spoon and feeds josie some of the pancake the girl melts by hope's touch as she strokes her cheek lovingly
