Chapter 19 : "right ?"

-Fast forward to next morning with Akio and Izumi at 12 pm-

Izumi woke up and was hoping to find Yakeru back home,she looks around the house.

Once she realised he wasn't back,Izumi broke down in tears

Izumi : w-why isn't he back yet ? Did something happen ?

Akio : hey,hey it's alright

She turns back and sees Akio lurking away from his room.Akio was stretching his hands and yawning.

Akio : so,he is not back home yet I suppose

Izumi : yes

Silence filled the atmosphere

Izumi had more streams of tears flowing down her cheeks.She was a little embarrassed so she tried to hold it back,however she couldn't

Akio : let's report back to Marie and Callie about this

Akio grabs his squidphone and started texting Marie

Ak4o : Marie

Marie : yes ?

Ak4o : got some news,Agent 3 has gone missing for 3 days and hasn't come back

Marie : Roger that.I will hold up a meeting about this later today at 1 pm,meeting including Callie,agent 8,Pearl,marina,You and myself.Meet at the HQ

Ak40 : alright.See you soon

Akio then puts down his phone

Akio : Izumi ,we are having a meeting later at 1 pm

Izumi : I-uh ok

Akio looks at Izumi

Akio : I know you are worried,like I said.Everything will be fine

Izumi : I-I just don't know anymore

Akio : even if Yakeru is not here right now,you still have me.right ?

Izumi : I guess so

Izumi looks at her phone and scrolls through her photos and memories.She stopped scrolling and saw a video of Yakeru and her.She plays the video and watches it.

The video shows Yakeru hugging her and saying

Yakeru? : I will be with you,Izumi.Forever,and forever.I promise

The video then stops.

Izumi : .....a promise is a promise....right?....

The more Izumi thought about it,the more she cried even harder.

Akio : Yakeru wouldn't want to see you worry about him,would he ?

Izumi looks back at Akio,her voice cracked

Izumi : YOU WONT UNDERSTAND,AKIO.WHAT IF HE IS IN DANGER

Akio :....we will always find a way to him,even if it means finding his dead body

Izumi sobs and attempts to wipe her tears off with her hands,but the tears couldn't stop flowing.

Akio : look...like I said...relax..I'm sure he wouldn't do something stupid,maybe

Izumi : you'd never know....we will never know...til we find him,there is no answer..

Akio :....let's just get ready for the meeting.Shall we ?

Izumi :a-alright..

They both went to their rooms to relax a bit and change into their agent suit.

Akio waited for Izumi to change finish and meet him at the living room.

Akio looks at the time and sees it is 12:40 pm

Akio : hold up...there is still loads of time tho... you know what,it is fine

Akio snoops around Yakeru's room.Akio looks to the left and sees a photo with Izumi and Yakeru together,watching the sunset.

Akio : awww

Akio wanders near Yakeru's table and sees a diary

"Dear Diary,

I feel so weird today,there is this stupid injury that won't recover and it just gets more worse.Other than that,I've been having trouble getting that Teal goo idiot to develop some common sense but in the end he has gotten a bit better.

I keep wondering to myself whether Izumi likes me or not...maybe one day I'll get to spend the whole day with her in a daisy field.Maybe get to see the sunset one more time with her.."

The diary was written by Yakeru,obviously.Akio takes the diary and stuffed it into his pocket which is big enough.

Akio : IZUMI ARE YOU READYyYYTTTttTTYyYYyy

Izumi : coming ! Sorry !

They both met each other at the living room

Akio : let's go

Akio and Izumi walks out of the house,with a determination to get some progression of the mystery.
