Here's a perfectly rational thought that I have no idea why people had not thought of before, Schools should be used to teach students rather than to test what they've learned. Why should you care about what I've learned? That's something I'll worry about when I'm a chemist or whatever, but guess what? You won't believe what I'm about to tell you!

I have no desire to become a chemist, so why should I be threatened with the risk of being kicked out of my team because of a C I received in a subject I didn't even want to study in the first place? I'm not sure.

Grumbling I walk out of my coach's room running his words in my head.

"You have to get a B-  Eveline " Coach Victor said with a sigh

"but coach"  I tried to form words but failed .

"My hands are tied, Eveline"  and that was it.

His hands weren't fucking tied, there was no sign of rope marks, yes I stared at his hands , and don't you dare take it in a weird way I needed something to focus my glare on and his hands proved to be the perfect candidate.

Walking out of his room my dark mood lifted a bit when I noticed a familiar figure sporting the same look as me and I knew exactly why that was.

" Got kicked out of the team have you? " I asked with a smirk. He looked up at the sound of my voice and glared.

Well at least I wasn't the only one failing in a subject and risking getting kicked out of the team, Archer was getting threatened with the same fate as me which made this whole thing a bit better.
