I looked at my hand which is going back to its normal color.

"You need sleep." "We need water." "Why are we walking the direction of the cornucopia." "If I can make water from snow, I can figure out how to make water from sea water."

"No." Roland stopped moving. "We aren't. Not until your fully rested up." "I'm fine Roland. I can't sleep anyway. I'm thirsty." "Nope you are resting."

"Your leg hurts that's why you want to stop." He didn't say anything so I know I'm correct. "Fine."

I leaned us up against a tree. My head fell onto his shoulder. I'm not going to sleep but I'll make him believe I did.

His breathing calmed and small snores were heard.

As I sat my eyes became heavy.

All of a sudden I didn't want Roland's hand on me. I lifted my head from his chest and scoted away from his sleeping body. My chest became tight I feel like I can't breath.

I grabbed the necklace listening to the noise the chain made as I swung the charm back and forth.

The arena turned into the white room. I'm leaned up against the courner of his bed my head resting on the headboard.

His naked body next to me. It's not Roland anymore. It's Atom.

I look down at myself my wetsuit is gone. I'm wearing nothing but my mother's necklace. Bruises are all over my legs and torso.

My legs wobbled as I got up from the bed. His arm wrapped around my waist. "Snow said I get you all night." He demanded as he forced me to lay with him.

A cannon went off making my thoughts move back to the games.

I don't want to win.

I don't want to go back to that life.

I don't want to go back to not knowing what bed I was in.

I looked around back in the arena. The sunrise was a gorgeous orange.

I've been walking all night, the sun is starting to rise. Orange and yellow beams of light hit the horizon. It made the mountain look as if it was glowing.

As much as there's blood and death in this arena, in this moment. Time stood still. I just stared at the sunrise. The hint of pink faded into the orange making a gorgeous ombré effect.

Seems as if the game makers outdid themselves with the arena and the sky this year.

A hovercraft went over us making Roland wake up. "Who's that for?" He wiped the sleep from his eyes. "I don't know, the cannon just went off. Since your awake let's get going. How's your leg."

I pulled up the vines. The bleeding stopped but it's still about an inch wide a a foot long. "I can walk fine as long as we don't do any running."

I nodded my head and tied the vines back on tight.

I lifted him up so he will be on my left now so I can properly use my sword.
