Thoughts carelessly litter my brain,
Rushing by, train after train.

I lure them out, onto this page,
Maybe they will simply fade with age?

Always planning, sometimes I feel stuck in my own head,
Forcing my brain to a halt feels like I'm lifting lead.

I give You my fears, I give You my hurt,
All the ways I've failed, and the thoughts I cannot divert.

I listen to Your truth, though it feels like it's not real,
My wandering heart, I know you will heal.

Hand by hand I walk with You,
And with each step my heart is renewed.

With You is the only place I need not strive.
With You, and only You, can I truly thrive.
