Joy is the realisation that other's approval means nothing and that God already approves of me, and not only that, but LOVES me.
Joy is seeing my weaknesses and not being filled with despair or being overwhelmed, but being filled with hope that God brings beauty out of brokenness.
Joy is knowing I am seen by God.
Joy is looking around at creation and knowing who to praise.
Joy is the freedom to love others instead of being consumed with whether or not they love me.
Joy is knowing that God designed me with a unique purpose and personality, and He knows me, even when I don't know myself.
Joy is having my identity secure in God.
Jesus is my joy.
