Taehee's Pov

The sun dropped through my window. The rays lit up the room. The sun rays reflecting through curtains were giving golden radiance to the room.Faints chirping sounds of birds could be heard.

I checked my phone , it's 7:15 am. It's time to wake up. I got up from bed and opened the curtains.

People don't like mornings nowadays but I love them because they give me new hope and new aspirations everyday. I live alone but it's not lonely here. I love to spend time at my home as I'm always busy because of work.

I forgot to introduce myself. Hi I'm Kim Taehee, I'm a surgeon.

I make my bed and head to kitchen to drink my honey warm water. I'm little health conscious. I turned on some music , after drinking honey water I cleaned my already organized living room . After that I went to washroom , nature's call . I did my morning routine. I love to pamper myself, cherish my skin.

What should I wear today ? Hmm. Should I wear simple pants and shirt today? Noo I can't wear them I look like a man from behind because of those pants . Let's go with high waist flare pants Tae, my curves look beautiful in them and a beautiful baggy cardigan to cover my shoulder.

I checked out myself in the mirror . I am looking beautiful. My hair are finally long, I look prettier than before. I took a selca of myself. I am organized since childhood.

I made my breakfast . I make pancakes and decorated them with raspberries and strawberries. I ate my breakfast.

It's time to leave now. I wore my casual white shoes, turned off all the lights and took my hand bag and car keys. I locked the door securely. This month I've morning shifts.

I came down by lift. I live on 5th floor and I can proudly say that it's my own apartment not too big but good enough for me.

I was checking if I kept my purse or not then suddenly I heard a kid's voice, it must be solbin , he is really cute. He is 4 or maybe 5 years old I guess.

" Eomma can I go to meet Tae noona , she gives me cupcakes. They're really tasty. " Solbin cutely uttered.

Then I heard one more voice.

" Solbin how many times I've told you to not meet her. She's different from us. "

" But eomma she's so nice and pretty "

" Area , keep your son away from her who knows, what if she made him behave feminine !!"

" I know right. But my son likes her so much . Yesterday I saw that boy again, you know what he dropped her. I think he is her boyfriend."

" That boy is so handsome, why is he wasting his time on her. She's not even a complete woman . "

These women will never stop bitching about me, how pathetic. Let's ruin their gossip time. I removed my cardigan and carried it on my arm . I took out my glasses and a chocolate bar for Solbin from my bag. I wore my glasses and confidently walked to them like a model . They don't like it when I act confidently .

" Hi Solbin baby, here is your favorite chocolate bar. "

" No thanks Taehee . " His mother said.

But Solbin took chocolate from my hand and hugged me. " Gomavo noona " . I love kids they never judge me unlike adults. I caressed his head softly. His mother pulled him away and he whined.

I took a deep breath and glanced at those women and said " He is not my boyfriend. "

Their eyes widened and they lowered down their face with shame. I left from there and went to my car.

I sat into my car and started it. I played a song. I myself don't know if he is my friend only. But we both know that we are not in love as partners . He is my comfort zone and I'm his comfort zone. These days he is behaving a bit different , more intimidating. He doesn't know that his actions are affecting me now, I don't know if it's good or bad. Let it be that way.

25 minutes later

Seoul's city hospital , I work here. You can call it my second home . I went to my office right away. My colleague doctors don't judge me anymore but some do pass comments on me. Some call me prostitute, some whore, some half men etc etc. They don't say it on my face as they get scared of my confident aura but behind my back . These disgusting remarks used to affect me a lot in past but I don't care anymore. I changed into my uniform. I heard a knock on door.

" Come in " I said.

" Good Morning Ma'am, you're finally here. I'm sorry for disturbing you early in the morning. " Ryujin said. She's an intern and really hardworking.

" Good Morning Ryujin. No you're not disturbing me. The moment I step in hospital my work start right away. " I replied.

" Yes ma'am you're correct. Ma'am this man has been diagnosed with abnormal growth of cells in colon, which I and Jennie have so far has confirmed as a case of cancer." She answered.

" What tests you've conducted? " I asked her softly. But sshe got nervous.

" Ma'am Jennie said that I can be wrong with my tests . Doctor Taeyong told us to do the tests by ourselves but he explained us . I'm scared ma'am what if I messed up. " She answered nervously, fidgeting with papers.

" Ryujin you can call me unnie I've told you a lot of times. And we all used to get nervous as well in the beginning of our career . But we all have to overcome it soon. You'll be a proper doctor soon. Be confident with your decisions. " I assured her with a smile.

" Thank you ma'am. I call you ma'am because I respect you a lot. You're my role model I wanna be best like you ma'am. I love your aura ma'am and the way you work confidently . " She said with a bright smile and eyes which holds a lot of big dreams. I was in her place 3 years ago. I chuckled, she smiled back softly.

" we conducted blood tests, CT scan, and biopsy. We've taken three opinions on the reports and all have opined colorectal cancer . Here are the reports." She said and given me the reports.

I checked the reports and replied " You did correct tests and Yes, this looks cancerous. Admit him today itself and I'm writing these tests get them done . And give me the reports of these tests later. "

" Ok ma'am " She said.

I wrote the tests and given her. She bow down and left.

I was going to sit and check some reports then someone rushed into my room again.

" Taehee it's an emergency. Jaehyun is on leave. You've to check this patient , let's go " My colleague said in hurry.
