"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!"

You had turned your gaze from the laptop in front of you to the small three year-old gripping your shirt with bright eyes and a large smile.

"Can I have this?" She held a big chocolate bar up for you to see, clearly stolen from the kitchen cupboard where you hid all the sweets.

"Honey, that's too much for you. Let's break off a piece for you, okay?"

The four year-old's face fell into a pout, her doe eyes glistening.

"But I want all of it."

"I'm sorry baby, but that's not healthy for you." you slowly took the chocolate from her hold, standing up from your seat at the dinner table where you had been working. "Wouldn't you want to share with your father and I?" you asked, walking into the kitchen and opening up the polished paper package of the large chocolate bar. Minji followed you with her small legs, her pigtails bouncing with each step.

"Yeah..." she mumbled, continuing to pout while watching you break up the chocolate to give her a piece. You squat down next to her afterwards, looking into her large round eyes that melted your heart every time and handed her the small piece of chocolate.

"I promise you'll have more after dinner, okay?" you smile softly, booping her nose. She blinked, her nose scrunching as her lips formed a smile.

"Okay!" she grinned. "Thank you mommy!" her little figure came closer to embrace you, a little habit of hers whenever you gave her what she wanted. You let your lips curve up while hugging her back, cherishing the small mother daughter moment.

The jingle of keys had you both separating, your gaze moving to the front door and watching a figure step into your home. He took his shoes off, his eyes falling onto you both, returning a drained and tired stare.

"Daddy!" your three year old exclaimed from where you both stood, her doe eyes shaping into moon crescents at the sight of her father. He gave a small court smile in return before turning his back and walking into the hall that led to his office.

"Daddy looks tired, why don't you give him some chocolate, hm?" you stood back up, breaking a chunk off of the chocolate bar before wrapping it into a small fragment of paper towel. Minji didn't object and took the chocolate from you, turning her small figure to follow her father into his office.

You gazed after her, your smile slowly falling.

"Jungkook! Dinner's ready!" you set down the pan of fried meat next to the pot of rice, Minji watching you do so in her booster chair to be able to reach her plate properly.

You placed a bit of food on her small plate, reminding her to finish her salad if she wanted to be "big and strong". It was the only way you got her to touch it.

"Jungkook!" you called out his name once more, seeing his figure finally walk out of his office, changed into a pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. He neared the table as you put food on his plate, watching him pick up his plate once you were done.

"Again?" you asked, looking up at him.

"I have a big project to work on, you know that." he answered, taking an extra scoop of meat while ignoring your stare.

"You should take a break."

"I can't."

"Even for five minutes?"
