Chapter 11

*Akhila Pov*

"Akhila! Ramya wants to talk about something. She asked me to inform you in the morning itself but I forgot to." Rani said when I walked outside the classroom along with her.

"About what?" I asked her confused.

"About something Duh!" She replied smiling.

I shook my head smiling and then turned back to tell her about my plans but any word coming out of my mouth stopped when I looked at him.

I still can't believe what happened three days back which is three days after the principal's room incident.

"I am sorry" these three words made me look towards my right where he is sitting.

"What?" I asked him shocked.

"I am sorry!" he replied and I continued to look at him ignoring the lecture completely.

When bell rang I got startled and mumbled "ok!". Then rushed outside the classroom as it was the last period.

"Akhila! Are you listening?" Rani asked waving her hand infront of my face.

"I.. I have some other plans. Tell her that I will meet her later." I said and immediately walked away from there.

After that day I am not even looking at him but to my surprise he is following me from these three days.

I shook my head to forget completely about him when I reached the Principal's office. I knocked on his door and entered.

"Oh Akhila! There is some good news for you." He said excitingly.

"There is?" I asked him nervously.

"Yeah! You got the internship in that company you requested." He replied making me breath in relief.

"Thank you so much sir for the recommendation." I said smiling.

"You need not thank me but I need a favor from you." he said nervously.

"What is it sir?" I asked him confused.

"There is another student who will go there along with you and I just want you to keep an eye on him." He replied smiling.

"Eye on him? But why sir? Is he a kid or something?" I asked him confused.

"No he is just.. he. I mean just do this favor for me and you will understand why am I asking you if you see him." He replied and then we both heard the door opening forcedly.

"Like you asked me I am here but my answer is still the same. I will not do my internship where you selected for me." I heard the booming voice of none other than Khushal.

"Khushal! She is also going to be with you and you have no other option." Sir said with blank face.

"Sir! Do I really have to?" I asked him standing up and showed pleading look.

"Is there any problem?" He asked looking at both of us.

"Yes!" we both said at a time.

"That's better! Now go to the company and show these letters. After that return to college directly." He said handing over two papers to me along with a big smile on his face.

We both just stood there for few minutes but left the room sighing when we saw that sir continued to do his work completely ignoring our presence.

We both calmly walked outside the campus without uttering a single word. But when we walked near the road, he turned back and went inside the campus.
