Ben left the little house in Jakku, speeding across the sand as fast as he could. Now that he knew where she was, what was stopping him? He slowed as he approached his TIE fighter and jumped off.

"AB!" he shouted up to the droid nestled deep inside the TIE's interior. "Set a course for Ach-To!" Now that TIE's were equipped with a hyperdrive, nav-computers or small droids were necessary to keep the ship on course.
The little back droid warbled a response as Ben climbed inside. Finally, after all this time, he could really see her again. Of course, he had to report back to the First Order about his mission to Jakku before he could go anywhere. But after that he was free to go wherever he pleased. Ben had just initiated the pre-flight check when AB, embedded in the wiring of the ship, beeped at him.
"What is it AB? I'm kind of in a hurry." AB displayed a message on the control screen. Hux was calling. With a long sigh, Ben ran his fingers through his hair and took the call. "What is it, General?" he said to the flickering blue holo.
"We sent scout droids as you requested, Supreme Leader," Hux's voice said through AB's tinny speakers.

"Is that the only reason you called?" said Ben, paying only half attention as he finished checking up on the ship

"Is that the only reason you called?" said Ben, paying only half attention as he finished checking up on the ship. He powered up the thrusters. "Never mind. There was no sign of R- of the girl on Jakku. She hasn't been here for a long time and it's doubtful she will return. I'm investigating a new lead a few star-systems away so I won't be returning for a few days."
"Wait, Ren," Hux protested before Ben could shut off the holo. "We need you back at the base first. We found a possible lead to the Resistance that requires your immediate attention."
"Fine," Ben growled, switching the holo off and lifting the sip off the ground. He hated to make Rey wait longer than he had to, but he couldn't risk giving the First Order any reason to be suspicious. If they found her first, he'd never forgive himself.
"AB, reset the coordinates, We're going back to base." AB needed in confirmation. "And delete the coordinates for Ach-To," he added. AB complied. Ben jumped the ship to the hyperdrive and watched as the stars slowed, then seemed to stretch into long trails of light as his ship sped faster than light.
