I ran to her room

"Nichole," I say opening her room door

I told Nichole about Dante
how he saved me that night and other things
we are together for the last two months

She seemed quite confused

I didn't expect her reaction like this

She didn't say anything just left the room with a smile on her face

We all sit at the dining table together

I notice Nichole eyes on Dante the whole time

She looks at him a certain way like she likes him

Mum says

Dante nudges my leg under the table

I widened my eyes giving him a don't you dare look

But he doesn't seem to care

"Rose where were you last night?"
Nichole asks me

Dad looks at me intensely waiting for my answer?

Dante has a mocking smirk on his face like he is enjoying me all nervous

"Oh, that I was at Leah house for a sleepover " I answer inwardly

Late-night 12. am

I lay on my bed in my oversized shirt
After Dante left
I didn't receive his calls nor replied his texts

Sweetheart are you asleep?
I sighed reading his text

Why are you ignoring me?

Yes, but only two days ago I never noticed before that he replied
