As the commander walked guards came to her side, escorting her through the corridors. The sudden company wasn't something Leoni had missed however considering that some people had decided to defect it meant that others most likely wanted her dead so guards were most certainly necessary. It wasn't too bad in all honesty, they never spoke or asked questions just protected her. Leoni walked into the computer room where Bellamy and Clarke were monitoring the...whatever it was they were monitoring
"-Echo did it! We're in!" Clarke told Bellamy excitedly as Leoni entered
"Wait outside" the blonde murmured sternly to her guards and they nodded before taking position either side of the door and closing it behind their Heda. Leoni was quiet slipping in so Clarke and Bellamy had not yet heard her
"ok" Bellamy nodded at Clarke and began to walk to the door but Clarke stopped him before he rounded the corner
"no, we can't tell them yet" Clarke said and Leoni stopped walking. she stilled and listened to the following conversation
"maybe not Octavia, she'll just move in with the worms but i have to tell Leoni there's no way i'm keeping this a secret from her not with everything that's going on between us right now" Bellamy argued
"Bellamy if we tell her she'll get her army and start a war. people will die and half the valley becomes a wasteland" Clarke tried to convince Bellamy not to tell his girlfriend who was hearing the entire thing. anger bubbled in the bottom of her stomach when Bellamy didn't immediately reject the idea
"she built a home there with Trimanikru i don't think she'll-" Bellamy tried to reason
"she will Bellamy. you know she will. nothing gets in the way of her and what she wants you saw what happened with Azgeda when Echo thought she'd killed Octavia" Clarke sighed sympathetically
"you're right...what should we do?" he asked guiltily
"the fighting is inevitable but what's also inevitable is that our friends are the first to be sacrificed by both sides. They're human versions of no man's land. we go get Maddie who knows the way back to the valley, take the rover and go pick up our friends then we tell Leoni and Octavia and worry about stopping the war. Indra has agreed to help keep them distracted we just need to say the words." Clarke suggested. Bellamy thought for a second before answering. Leoni stood, biting her cheek in furious acceptance
"fine only because i don't want her to regret putting Raven and Kane in danger" Bellamy finally agreed and the two started to leave on their way to find Monty and Harper but they came face to face with Leoni. they froze instantly trying to work out how much she had heard "hey princess-"
"Don't." Leoni snapped "guards" she called, never taking her eyes away from Bellamy's. The two men from before came bursting in
