"I murdered 200 people of Azgedakru to avenge Kidra" Leoni stated quickly and coldly from where she stood just inside the entrance to Lexa's tent. The commander was facing away from her as the girls words started to make sense in Lexa's head. She turned around slowly trying to suppress a look of bewilderment.

"What" Lexa breathed

"Nia murdered my commander so I made her feel my pain" Leoni continued
"If that makes me a traitor then string me up beside Finn but I will not apologise because I got justice for Kidra and that's more than can be said for anyone else of the 12 clans including you wether you'll admit to it or not." Leoni nodded as she spoke now more sure of herself and more confident she'd made the right decision all those years ago

"You're not a traitor" Lexa began walking towards her friend
"You are a loyal Haiplana especially under Kidra's rule" A look of pride grew on Lexa's face

"Thank Becca" Leoni sighed relaxing as she ventured further into the tent
"I was kinda scared I'm not gonna lie" she chuckled. Leoni's pure relief sent a chilling realisation through Lexa's mind. The girl wasn't sorry! She barely cared! She'd killed 200 people and barely cared!

"Of course" Lexa nodded carefully

"You'll have to scar me though! It'll hurt like a bitch but it's time I came clean and had the scars to prove it!" Leoni winced as she sat down on a seat and handed Lexa the dagger she kept hid away down her boot. The dark haired girl took it cautiously, positioning Leoni so her open back was clear for Lexa to see. She crouched down and began to draw the sharp metal through Leoni's skin sending dark blood dripping down its shiny surface. Leoni grimaced at the pain but didn't say anything

"word on Lincoln?" Lexa asked changing the subject entirely as if slicing through her friends back was am every day occurrence

"He's not coming! Doesn't agree with your rule Heda." Leoni scoffed, still beyond pissed that Lincoln had chosen Octavia over her no matter how chilled out she may have seemed at the time
"Also, you know Octavia? Dark hair, bright eyes, definitely a fighter?"

"Ooh Lincoln's girl?" Lexa stopped momentarily and in that moment they were two young girls gossiping like kids their age should be but the moment didn't last

"Yep! He's totally macking on her for a start but I asked her to be my second"

"Seriously? I thought you didn't want a second?" Lexa asked returning to the messy task at hand

"Yeah I didn't want a kiss ass loser who would do my every bidding! But Octavia? She's awesome! She'll need to be taught the technicalities but she has the strength and the will to push back if need be."

"Wise" Lexa complimented
"Did you see Bellamy?" Lexa knew what she was asking and she was curious to how Leoni would react.

"Mhm" Leoni squeezed her eyes shut, attempting to deflect the pain of scarring

"Much to say?"

"Not too much." Leoni shook her head not really wanting to tell Lexa that she'd totally fallen for him

"Do you care for him?"

"He is my blood of course I do"

"So is Finn"

"Finn is a murderer"

"So are you"

"I kill with reason he kills in cold blood"

"He cared for Clarke that was his reason"

"Caring is his first mistake" Leoni finished the back and forth thoughtfully
"And it will most likely be mine too" she admitted softly as Lexa continued marking her back for every life the blonde had taken. Each and every one.

"How bad is it?" The commander treaded carefully, boy talk wasn't exactly a well practiced skill

"Your scarring? Pretty damn sore Lexa!"

"Your crush on the Blake boy!" Leoni hesitated before answering. She was thinking about her answer carefully. How badly did she care for a boy

"We might need to find him a guard" Leoni placed her head on the table in front of her absolutely love struck

"Unlike you Leo, I must admit!" Lexa laughed softly. God how Leoni loved that laugh

"Yeah I know! I hate it!"

"You'll get over it" Lexa shrugged

"I don't think I want to" Leoni sighed and the two girls spent the rest of their time in silence, comfortable in each other's presence

With Leoni successfully scarred and cleaned up she was once again at the gates of Camp Jaha except this time she was on her horse with a guard at either side of her and had no intention of going inside. The grounders had begun chanting Jus Drein Jus Daun putting the Sky people under pressure. Abby approached Leoni and her guards and the girl felt a sensation of stiffness settle in around her shoulders as images of her screaming mother flashed through her mind

"we're here for the boy" one of the guards demanded gruffly. Leoni stared Abby down trying to pick her apart for the coward she was

"you're not getting him" Abby sneered

"Abby don't be difficult" Leoni huffed

"you're not getting him and we're prepared to fight if we have to" Abby confined strongly. Leoni looked at her for a second seeing the fire in her eyes.

"deliver the message to Heda" Leoni ordered and the two guards rode off. Leoni jumped off Fyucha and walked towards Abby who was completely unnerved, an expression Leoni was unused to

"you can't change my mind, we're not giving up one of our own" Abby continued

"i respect that" Leoni nodded
"i wouldn't give one of my people up either but there's more at stake here. More than just a life"

"there's nothing at stake! no truce is worth any amount of lives!"

"you see these people here?" Leoni gestures to the hundreds of warriors behind her
"they have been trained in lethal combat since birth." she turned back to Abby's who's eyes were trained on the grounders
"without that truce, without Finn's death, these warriors will attack and when i say attack i mean they will kill you all and take pleasure in doing so. make the right decision" Leoni turned to get back on Fyucha

"Finn trusted you." Abby said
"he is loyal to you." she said again trying to provoke the young Queen

"Finn burned a village. it will pain me to see him go but not as much as it pained me to find out that the people i swore to protect were assassinated for something they took no part in."

"he made a mistake!"

"that cost lives! this is our way of justice and you'll respect that!" Leoni growled before going to hop on Fyucha then just when she couldn't get more worked up her father came into view. the girl froze at the sight of the man but didn't make an effort to get to him

"Leoni! you're alive." Kane exclaimed a smile forming on his face as he rushed over and pulled her into a hug, his hands pressing on her still newly cut back which made her wince slightly. she hugged her father tightly knowing that once he found out what she had done he wouldn't look at her the same way again

"Daddy" she whispered, closing her eyes and savouring the moment

"Come inside so we can discuss how to handle the situation" Kane pulled away and tried to pull her in to the camp but Leoni reluctantly pushed her father away

"Abby will fill you in" she nodded, forcing a painful smile which Marcus only returned with a look of confusion. Before he could protest Leoni was on Fyucha riding back to camp.
