Stop it Finn

The time of Finn's execution had come. Things were being prepared outside but Leoni was with Lexa, fiddling with her fingers nervously. She couldn't help but think back to Finn's kindness towards her, the loyalty he had pledged to her and the hurt she would now cause him.

"Leok. You're hurting yourself stop it" Lexa snapped Leoni out of her trance. The girl looked to Lexa before looking down to her hands which were now bleeding from where she had been subconsciously scratching them.

"Sorry" she muttered quickly. She wiped the blood on her leggings and began to pace the tent instead

"Will you calm down? I thought you stood by this decision?" Lexa questioned frustratedly. Leoni's nervousness was firing up her own

"I do I just... I don't know you know I get nervous with things like this" Leoni waved a hand in dismissal

"Don't do it" Lexa pleaded softly. Leoni looked at her friend puzzled

"Don't do what?"

"Take a cut. Go now, say what you want him to hear but don't hurt him any more than that" Lexa nodded softly telling Leoni it was ok.

"But-"

"If you make the boy bleed" Lexa cut in
"You have no chance of earning the respect of your people all you'll get is their fear and we need them on your side ready to follow you though anything. You'll also wreck this precious relationship with the sky boy you seem to have never mind the one your trying to build with your father" she explained. Leoni nodded thoughtfully and walked out through the gathering grounders that were shouting at Finn who was tied up, ready for his punishment. He looked scared,  no, utterly petrified! She walked over to him slowly making the crowd quieten and the audience at Camp Jaha begin to shout in anguish. Leoni looked towards the camp spotting the sky kids. She nodded towards them, wether they saw it or not didn't matter. She stood in front of Finn and looked at him sympathetically

"Finn" she sighed, pushing the hair out of his face delicately

"Don't kill me" he begged quietly
"Don't do it"

"I'm not going to" Leoni offered a small smile
"My commander will"

"I'm so sorry Leoni I didn't think I-"

"Stop it Finn" Leoni snapped
"You're making this harder than it needs to be for both of us!" Leoni started to control her own breathing in attempts to calm herself down
"I need you to understand why I'm standing by all of this" she nodded. Savouring these last moments with a boy she had come to call a friend.
"You killed a baby. Did you know that?" Leoni bit her cheek as Finn's face fell even more devastated than it already was

"No, I didn't realise" he whispered

"Their house was beside the food supply, both the baby and her sick mother were burned by the flames you started. This is how we deal with people who do things like that. And I wish it wasn't you but it is. You did that and there has to be consequences or everyone would go around burning people"

"Please" tears started to fall down Finn's face as he begged

"Don't fight it. That's the best advice I can give you." Leoni took in the boys face before kissing him softly on the cheek

"Look after Raven" he asked
"She's over there" Finn nodded his head towards the hysterical, dark haired girl at the camp he had hoped to one day call home. Leoni followed his gaze, pin pointing the girl and nodding to Finn

"I remember her from before You have my word"

"And give her this" Finn slipped a small piece of paper into her hand. Leoni's fingers closed around it carefully

"You're a good man Finn" Leoni smiled softly
"I'm not going to hurt you but they will and I can't stop them because what you did was wrong. Be strong and don't shed anymore tears" Leoni wiped the tears from his face her hands stroking his cheeks softly

"May we meet again" Finn sighed as if accepting his fate

"May we meet again" Leoni repeated before turning to leave back to the tent Lexa was stationed in. On her way she saw Clarke.

"Leoni" Clarke greeted. She looked like a wreck.

"Ugh what the hell" Leoni gave up, stopping Clarke from walking on and pulling her into a hug
"I'm sorry Clarke I really am" the girl whispered before letting the devastated girl go. That's when she felt it. The knife going into her stomach, through her top into her gut. It didn't hurt at first, the pure shock of the whole thing taking over any pain that she should have felt

"Me too" Clarke whispered
"You won't harm him, I won't let you." She sneered softly into her ear as Leoni looked down at her black blood oozing once again. Clarke let her go and Leoni lifted a shaking hand to the blood and holding it up to look at the result of what Clarke had done

"Crap" Leoni whispered when she felt her legs fave in and she collapsed to the ground. Pressing on her wound as she watched Clarke walk towards Finn in anguish. Within seconds Indra was at her side along with other guards and the crowd of grounders ready to watch Finn were now watching her.
"Shit" Leoni whispered as Indra pushed on her stab wound

"GET A HEALER! LEOK HAS BEEN STABBED!" Indra shouted so loud that skaikru could hear which caused an uproar there as well. Every single person on the ground was worried for Leoni at that moment, all except Clarke who knew exactly what she was doing.

"No" Leoni tried to tell the grounders of what Clarke was doing but she was too weak and the grounders were too concerned
"No" she whispered in defeat as her eyes watched Clarke kill Finn
"No" she whined again. People shouted and tried to help her but Leoni couldn't hear them over the heart beat in her head
"She... no" Leoni sobbed tearlessly. Soon Lexa was by her side. Fussing over her.

"Leo? Leok are you ok!" Lexa asked urgently pushing down on the wound causing blood to spill over her hands

"Clarke" Leoni winced grabbing Lexa's attention. Lexa's face changed into one of realisation as she turned to the now dead Finn. The grounders shouted in anger and went to attack. Lexa looked to the bleeding Leoni for guidance
"It is done" Leoni whispered in pain. All she could think of were Hyma and Leo and how their justice was unserved

"STAND DOWN" Lexa ordered her people and her people did as she asked
"It is done" she clarified glaring at Clarke. A scream came from Camp Jaha which Leoni immediately knew must have been Raven's. She grasped the piece of paper Finn had given her and squeezed her eyes shut allowing the healer to care for her.

"Yu gonplei ste odon" Leoni whispered towards the sky. Towards Finn.
