Sundown came and Leoni was making her way to Lexa's room ready to take her to dinner. She walked giddily, her mind flowing with dreams of Thai food, exactly what she was going to persuade her sister to go for! Of course she knew the girl would be pretty upset having said goodbye to Clarke but it's not like she was dead! She'd get over it Leoni decided. as the blonde neared the commander's chamber she spotted a tied up Murphy outside the room
"weasel?" Leoni asked in complete and utter confusion. Murphy looked over to her quickly his face instantly dropping , no hint of a smirk on his lips, no mischievous glint in his eyes. What was going on?

With fear rising with bile through her throat Leoni rushed to the grand, decorated wooden door of Lexa's room to find it was already wide open and just in time for her to hear the ear shredding gunshot that ended the life of her best friend and changed hers forever. it went in slow motion from there. Titus stood with the smoking gun too stunned at his own actions to breath. Leoni followed the direction of the gun to Lexa's gut where her trembling hands now covered in attempts to stop the blood. Leoni's eyes travelled up to meet Lexa's and in that gaze a million words were shared. Leoni's world had just been snatched from right under her feet. Maybe she was in denial maybe she was trying to catch up her mind with her eyes but wait her way the blonde was frozen. Leoni watched as Clarke and Titus rushed Lexa to the bed and the sky girl instantly began to try and patch the commander up, to save her life. Leoni and Lexa kept their eyes locked as hell broke loose. Clarke begun crying while Titus started praying. Leoni didn't move, she didn't know how! She forgot.
"Lexa" Leoni managed to whisper as her senses came flooding back and she instantly ran, falling by the bed fussing over the girl as much as she could without interfering with Clarke
"Leoni" Lexa breathed as sticky black blood began to dribble out of her mouth
"no no no no" Leoni stroked Lexa's forehead and cheeks still in complete denial that this was happening to even hear Lexa's calls
"she's lost too much blood" Clarke observes devastated as she sat back in her heels knowing there was nothing she could do to save her love
"what the FUCK are you talking about get her more blood then!" Leoni shouted tears streaming down her cheeks
"Leoni" Lexa said again, calmly, accepting her fate.
"fix her!" Leoni's voice broke as she sobbed, searching Lexa's eyes for the fight that made the girl her sister
"i can't i'm sorry i-i can't!" Clarke cried while Titus prepared to take the flame. Leoni felt Lexa's pulse still thumbing her cheeks and forehead but then she sat up turning to Clarke and holding her arm out
"Can you use mine? Will my blood save her? It's the same colour surely that means something!" Leoni tried desperately but Clarke could only shake her head
