Valerie had been feeling quite lonely ever since the wedding of her mom and her best friend's father. She would sit in her room, all hours of the day, either staring at the ceiling or watching videos on her phone. Occasionally, she would watch a movie with Harry, her new step-brother.
They both felt the same way about the wedding of their parents, and they both have felt lonely while they were on their honeymoon.
But today, they were going to school.
And they needed to get everything figured out by themselves.
