Voices I could hear around me, my vision was blank but voices were echoing in my head.I couldn't move I tried so many attempts,I could hear my mum's voice figting with some man.my mum was hurting I could hear it in her voice arghhh I'm flipping useless,wake up veronica WAKEE UPPP!

Gasping for air, I resurrected from the surface I was on, gasping for air, my throat felt like it was closed, I kept gasping and coughing. My heart began to beat faster, drops of sweat came streaming down. I could feel my neck contracting in the process i tried to find the source of the pain but my hands wont move looking for the closest escape. I let out a screeching scream.

I told vye I was going to be late today, Blackwood wanted a bit more. I know it's wrong, Vye would be disappointed if she found out I will stop but just not now we need the money Gus has been nagging me on and on about the rent, he gave me 3 more days to come up with the money or were homeless,c'mon I had no choice one more night with Blackwood and I have the money with 7 thousand extra,I think it's time for Vye to get a car she's been on that skate board long enough.

I pulled up on the driveway in my 1970 Challenger, grabed the car keys from the ignition and my purse from the passenger seat and hopped out of the car. Strolling though my porch the house door was wide open,I know vyes home and she would never leave the door open not after what happened so someone's there with her...who??

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I let out a piercing yelp

Right before my eyes my baby girl was Tied down on the couch unconscious cuts and bruises surrounding ever parameter of her body, I ran towards her not aware of my surroundings I started loosening the grip the ropes hand on her leg, I faint figure was approaching me from behind before I had the chance to move they already had me in a head lock

"scarlett?...your late"

"Damon?"

"how did you know"

"i don't want to talk to you just let my daughter go its David you want not us."

"but I figured if I have you and he's daughter He'll give me my money faster."

"that's what this is all about money?"
